The coffee here is consistently excellent. They do a great matcha as well, perfect balance between sweet and matcha bitterness.

The food is scrumptious - best item on the menu is Patatas Bravas, and the toasties are generous and indulgent.

For those to whom it is important, the toilets are excellent, very clean and always full of supplies.

The high ceilings, indoor plants and natural lighting creates a wonderful atmosphere, as does the regular attendance of dogs of all shapes and sizes.

This is one of my favourite cafes in Melbourne. I've been a loyal customer since they used to be Anthropology in Pascoe Vale. It's so good, I've actually followed them around the city. It's now a bit far from my house, but totally worth traveling for. The sandwiches are simple, but made with incredibly fresh and high quality ingredients where the flavors just pop out. Food is always delish with good and interesting specials - rated the buffalo mozzarella sandwich and fried egg with caciotta cheese sandwich, aleppo eggs, and the pavlova special, in particular. Affordably priced compared to the average brunch spot.
