I had a very unpleasant experience at this venue that left me disappointed and frustrated. After being away from Australia for a year, I was excited to visit a familiar place for a casual evening playing the pokies. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned.

When I tried to exchange a $100 note for smaller bills to use in the pokie machine, the bartender made it unnecessarily complicated, and the security guard then approached me with intrusive and accusatory questions about my money. Their behavior was unprofessional and felt discriminatory, creating a very unwelcoming atmosphere.

Additionally, the bartender’s forceful approach during the daily remembrance ceremony at 6 PM was off-putting and felt more like a power trip than a genuine gesture of respect. The entire experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.

This establishment seems to have changed for the worse, and now appears to be more focused on exerting control than providing a friendly environment for its patrons. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a relaxed evening, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

The bartender first gave me a hard time, and then the security guard approached me with rude and invasive questions about my money. Their attitudes clearly showed bias and a lack of professionalism, making the situation feel discriminatory.

To make matters worse, the bartender forced everyone to stand for the daily remembrance ceremony at 6 PM in a manner that felt more about exerting control than showing respect. It was incredibly off-putting and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Not a good experiences as I don't play pokies much I asked the lady next to me how do I reserve my machine she replied just hit the information button and you can reserve the machine So that's what I did unfortunately I didn't know how long the machine is on reserve and I went and had a smoke Not knowing all the rules of How long reserve lasts for on the machine But now I know A old lady come along and stuck her ticket into my machine and played my money this old lady who did this is getting away with it because she is old As Far as I'm concerned it Stilling and I'm not happy about the out come
