KFC Lynbrook — Restaurant in Melbourne

I don’t even know where to begin! If I could zero stars I would! This is genuinely the most disgusting KFC in Victoria, the staff are completely unprofessional, and the whole front of house was disgusting, makes you wonder how unhygienic their kitchen is where customers can’t see! Now I am fair, there were aspects that they could not help, like the fact the drive through was down so everyone has to order inside, they didn’t receive their drink delivery in the morning so their only options were orange juice, apple juice or peach ice tea, and their power went out while we were waiting for our food, I can understand that is a tough time with 12 families all waiting inside for their dinner. But the complete and utter shock of the situation with how the staff acted while dealing with these crisis’s was what upset not just me but everyone the most. They were carrying on out the back not even worried about trying to get orders out to everyone that was waiting, they were swearing in front of young children and just mucking around in general. I am all for fun in the work place, but when you have orders backed up like they did you need to pull your head in and work hard to ensure everyone is receiving what they paid for. When it came to my order they forgot to add something, and the girl told her friend to “just take it out” of somebody else’s order! The order had been sitting on the bench for 5 minutes, and that person also paid for their food and is expecting that item, don’t just take it from someone else’s order! This is not the first time this place has disappointed me and my family. Last night while I heard another customer talk to the acting manager on shift she told her she needed to pull rank and get these workers in line, the poor manager whispered that she was trying to this other customer! What kind of establishment is this where the manager does not even feel comfortable telling their employees to knock it off or more so, if only one register is working why not ask one of the other 20 people in the kitchen to sweep the floor, and clean up all the rubbish and bathrooms! This is a where people are coming to eat! I seriously hope everyone reconsiders coming to this restaurant, because something needs to be done and the staff need to learn....

I went to the lynbrook kfc and was so discussted with the state of the store and the staff. Omg I don’t do anything like for a review but I felt I needed to. As I walked in the floor was absolutely discussting the benches had left over food scraps on then near the counter. Even the front of the serving counter had grease running down it not to mention the staff member that took my order got it wrong and I said it 3 times to break it down for her I had 3 more of my family with me as well as I live just around the corner from the store. I couldn’t stay inside anymore as it was getting to full off people and not save to be in. As I walk out I saw a staff member sitting in the corner at a table eating lunch I ask is it ok to sit in the restaurant now and eat our lunch he said I don’t know and I don’t care I m eating mine here. Omg. I went to stand outside and I l could see is cigarette buts everywhere both sides of the door way and over towards the delivery bay of the store. It’s just had a new facelift and really doesn’t do it any justification. I got home to open my meal I was really looking forward to to find I got the wrong drink I asked for and she did ask what drink I wanted but no mustn’t be listening. I got two extra pieces of leg chicken and another in my box meal they were fried beyond there life’s and were so small me cat would’ve found any chicken then potatoe and gravy was almost clear and hand no taste. I won’t go any further about my family’s meals as it would take to long. I m sorry for writing so long about this complaint as I don’t ever write a bad or not happy feed backs but I felt I had to write this one today. I have a family member that manages another kfc store and he got %98 review from the boss aka the rock at his store. If he was at this he would close it down and stat again. PLEASE clean up the store as it my local and I want to keep going there but not like this....

My wife and myself decided to order kfc tonight after a long day of being in the hospital due to our son having an allergic reaction to peanuts. So we go to lynbrook kfc (Melbourne Victoria) and my wife got nothing but disrespect from careless workers who basically ignored every request that was given. My wife asked for bacon and cheese zinger burger with no supercharge sauce (but supercharge sauce was smothered within the 3 layers of the burger). My zinger stacker burger was a mess (all plastered and squashed). My wife asked for very fresh hot chips with extra salt (extra salt doesn’t mean opening the salt shaker and pumping the lot inside the chip pack). My wife requested nicely for the chips to be fixed several times and got treated with disrespect. I then come in with the chips and get treated the same, the worker then grabs our chips, mixes it with the cold and old batch and repacks our chips. At this point I gave up and didn’t know what to do (I didn’t want to cause a scene) but to top it off our slabs had couple of moldy popcorn chickens (I got photos but google review doesn’t give me the option to upload on my mobile). I’m sorry kfc but your lynbrook branch just lost 2 loyal customers and many more. We demand a refund after our experience was nothing but putrid and disgusting. Refund does not mean credit, we want what we spent...
