Good food with authentic taste. Male&female both staff wr welcoming. Bit on higher side of price range compare to normal, quantity was good. We tried Entree-Veg manchurian dry&Murg malai tikka. Manchurian ball was crispy tossed in finely chpped ginger garlic spring onion masala. Chicken was nice&tender. Main- Paneer Handi&Purani delhi ka butter chicken. Both curry had nice texture of ingrediants unlike many places have curry made out of smooth blend of tomato/onion. Dal makhni good and Garlic Naan was excellent as it was soft, not too think or chewy.

Mango lassi was good.(Green-red jelly can be avoided rather almond flakes would be better choice for garnishing, jelly might be good idea for kids)

Loved the idea of serving curries in clay pots. Please keep doing it.

Restaurant is located upstairs so its not disable/wheelchair/old people friendly as u need to climb stairs. Also with prams you need to fold, carry lift to upstairs&open again. Unless i am not aware of any backdoor entry,it would be good if provision is made for this issue.

For a suggestion- Area around restaurant is too dark at night&so for ppl passing through south gippy hwy,its hard to notice its existence, specially when area is fenced and sign board doesnt have enough light around. Its rather domimated by big Grocery store sign. Its hard to notice from road. Puting LED sign on roadside for sometime would probably help creating more awareness of restaurant and foot traffic specially when its opened just...

Went to the restaurant to pick up my dinner (placed through Ubereats). I spoke to the receptionist and told her the name for my order, she said no problem and went to check in the kitchen. After waiting for 10 minutes, she returned and confirmed correctly if the order was for 'my name' - indicating that she knew of the order. Asked me to wait again as she went to recheck in the kitchen - and returns to say no such order was received on Ubereats. She asked me for the order items again and said she would have the chef start making the order - which I declined as i had already waited 20 minutes in addition to the time i waited at home post the order.

There was no apology or acknowledgement and the overall attitude was - if you still want food , I will make it.

While I was waiting I also saw other customers that were dining in, complaining about the long wait for the food.

The overall experience although not atrocious, left...

I recently dined at Butter Chicken Factory in Lynbrook, Victoria, and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant has a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for a cozy dinner or a festive gathering. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Goat Curry. The meat was tender, and the curry was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice to tantalize the taste buds. Each bite was a delightful blend of traditional Indian spices, cooked to perfection. We also tried the Handi Paneer, which was equally impressive. The paneer was soft and creamy, enveloped in a luscious, spiced gravy that was both aromatic and delicious. It paired wonderfully with the freshly baked naan and fluffy basmati rice. Butter Chicken Factory has truly mastered the art of Indian cuisine. Whether you're a fan of classic dishes or looking to try something new, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and explore more...

The taste of food is not as it used to be... way tooo oily and not cooked prooperly ...worst tasted food- this was last month ..I didn't post as I wanted to give this place another chance. Today-Adding to it, the order was placed online and when I went there to collect ( order pick up was 11.30pm but I was there at 11.25 so I can pay n all till it gets ready) there was no one at the reception. I kept ringing bell but no response. Went upstairs and it was creepy silent there to, called out but no single person to attend..came down stairs and kept ringing bell but no response and I even tried calling mobile number mentioned on website and was hung up without response ...I was about to leave when a lady came out who had no idea of the bell or me being there...if a person is going out late to get food, they expect to be attended with someone at the restaurant..hope the owner is not running this business with people wfh....

We should have stopped at the starters, as they were surprisingly good. Both the dahi kebab and chilli chicken didn’t look appealing when served, as little effort was made in presentation, but they tasted great, and I was pleasantly impressed. However, the veg thali and the Purani Dilli butter chicken were disappointing. The veg thali included daal makhani and a paneer dish, both of which were overly creamy. No flavours at all just had cream. I had hoped the Purani Dilli-style butter chicken would be a more authentic version, but to my dismay, it was even sweeter and creamier than the standard version—completely off-putting. I might return to try other dishes, but so far, their curries have failed to impress due to the overwhelming use of cream.
