Little Birdy Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

I am a local and took my two young grandson to the cafe for some chippys as they had suffered from an upset tummy the night before and were only allowed plain carbs to eat

We walked to the cafe and on the way had to pass the bakery. My youngest grandson ran into the bakery and begged for a crossiant, it was nearly lunchtime and I had starved them of breakfast due to the previous nights upset tummy.

I gave in and purchased 2 plain crossiants from the bakery and headed to the cafe. Embarassed.

The two beautiful young ladies serving me, said it was perfectly fine for the ravenous youngsters to sit and eat their crossiants while I ordered a tumeric latte. I did also order the chippys but they don't have them.

There's not many establishments that would take pity on the same situation and show such a genuinely kind and helpful attitude and service. The staff are second to none and provide a chilled out, relaxed atmosphere whenever I have the pleasure to be there. Love that little cafe. Highly...

I think I've left a review before, but the egg and bacon roll with cheese and relish is a euphoric experience.

It's worth travelling any distance to allow your taste buds to sift through the carefully curated ingredient list, with the star being the beautifully toasted foccacia. There may not be any overly fancy tricks, but don't be fooled. This is an egg and bacon roll of the highest level, all aspects have been executed brilliantly, and eating criteria that you would never think of have been carefully thought about. This culinary experience is worth every penny and is honestly a steal.

THERES NO TOILET OR BABY CHANGE FACILITIES! 😭😟I’m new to the area and went to little birdy because it was recommended to be a great place… milk was defenitly burnt in coffee and weak and when I went to ask for the toilet for me and my child I was told to go down the street and looked at like I was wrong for asking! This is a cafe that seats quiet a few people with quiet allot of families coming! I don’t understand why it does not provide a toilet!
