I just moved to the area and everything feels weird. Moving house stressed me out and I've been unnecessarily cranky with my partner. Living out of boxes and have no idea where the plates are. Bathroom sink is leaking and real estate agent isn't responding. It's meant to be summer but the weather is lousy. Son started school yesterday and all the other parents intimidate me because they seem to have their lives together. Feeling anxious, upside down and back to front. Walked into Little Tienda with my son and the world suddenly made sense again. Food (ham and cheese croissant and special bagel) was unreal. Coffee was a solid 9.5/10. Staff we're all so friendly (amazing touch when people refer to you by your name throughout the whole experience). Sat on the couch with a full and happy belly, surrounded by chaos and felt peaceful for the first time in days. Thank you Little Tienda...amazing what good food, coffee and friendly people can do. Little Tienda translates into little store, and that is exactly what it is. Except, it is a little special. Despite its look from outside, the cafe can accommodate quite a number of people with a courtyard at the back. With four staffs handling both eat in and t/a orders, you'd have to wait a bit to get your order (although it's worth the wait). There are several mexican dishes on the menu and you can see them being cooked to order through their open kitchen. What an absolute delight !!!! Been seeing this little place on Instagram and finally got to visit today the coffee was so delicious , the service was impeccable the breakfast burrito was absolutely delicious !!!! But the real star is the chilli oil - who would have thought adding aniseed to chilli oil It’s liquid gold . The gluten free sweet treat were so amazing. Only criticism I bought the chilli oil but the lid was not tight and by the time I got home I lost almost half of it So please have a look at the chilli oil’s packaging otherwise a perfect place which I will be visiting...
