McDonald's Little Boundary Rd — Restaurant in Melbourne

Dropped by this am for a hot chocolate for my son and two hash browns, the person who made the hot chocolate failed to put the lid on properly, resulting in my car and clothes being drenched in hot chocolate, lucky for me the hot drink wasn't hot enough to burn me . My car now needs a detail and my work jacket requires dry cleaning which McDonald's will clearly never pay for. The manager stated the lid was on properly, insinuating it was my fault that the drink fell everywhere , there was an apology and some dry wipes to clean my own car but nothing more. By far this is the worst service by a McDonalds I have ever experienced and I will never return there. It's an absolute disgrace that they could not put a lid on a hot drink properly! Worst place ever! I really don't think I should have to cover the expenses for dry cleaning and car detailing because of their incompetence! Unbelievably slow McDonald's. Spent 7 minutes waiting at the order box in the drive through. Told to move to window - spent another 4 minutes there before someone even came to the window. Ordered, spent another 6 minutes waiting - as the only car in the drive through. No idea what took them so long because the food came out like it had been sitting there for hours. Cold, soggy, unsalted chips and burger that had to have been thrown into the burger box from a distance.

It's McDonald's. I don't expect a lot. But compared to other McDonald's restaurants, this one is utter garbage. You'd save time by driving to Altona, and the food can't be any...

Honestly a stand out Maccas! Fresh, fast, friendly and easy. (I called into this Maccas after leaving the previous freeway rest stop Maccas which was quite dirty, black handprint smeared counters and more flies than people.) The gamble definitely paid off at Little Boundary Rd Maccas. I was greeted warmly by a young gentleman, who was attentive and committed to helping. He took my order and burger variation with ease, had a fresh burger cooked and before I knew it, I was on my way. Even threw in some fries. All delicious, juicy, piping hot. 10/10
