My and wife I visited McDonalds at Melton West on Tuesday the 9th April for a dine-in breakfast! Wow! What an experience! Went back three times to the counter to get the order right! Cold egg and bacon. Yuck!!!!! Stale muffins!!!! Half filled cup of orange juice!!!!! Greasy Luke warm hash browns!! Everything basically thrown together!!! The wrapping on the egg and bacon muffins looked like my two yr old grand child had done it!!! Couldn't even charge me correctly at the register!! Then to top it all off, I observed on two occasions in the space of about 10mins, the maintenance man going from cleaning in the restaurant to the fryers handling the food with out changing gloves! Met with the on-duty manager. Was challenged on the validity of what I had to say/complain about! I Asked for a contact number and the name of the restaurant owner! That was a waste of time. The manager came back 10mins later with an email address to write to! I was rather curious about the justification I was given by the manager, for a maintenance person being back of house or up front and handling food, then going back to cleaning and maintenance. I was of the understanding that people working in the food industry had to do a food handlers cert! Do maintenance and cleaning personnel do a food handlers cert? Mmmmmmm Won't be back to Maccas...
Read moreI'm writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your Melton location. I placed an order through the drive-through, and when I received my meal, I was given the wrong wrap. I ordered a Classic Crispy Wrap meal but received the smaller Crispy Snack Wrap instead.
I returned to the window to explain the mistake, and unfortunately, the staff member who assisted me, who I believe was the manager, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She displayed a significant amount of attitude and seemed unwilling to resolve the issue. To make matters worse, I was charged for their mistake. The price difference online was only 70 cents, but I was made to pay a $5 difference. This is unacceptable, especially given the manager's rude demeanor. She simply stated, 'Yeah, this is the difference,' without any apology or attempt to rectify the situation.
As someone who has worked in retail, I understand the importance of customer service, and this behavior was simply disgusting. I hope this matter is addressed, and appropriate action is taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. I expect a higher standard of service and professionalism from McDonald's, and this experience fell far...
Read moreDined inside for the first time today. I was so impressed with the place. The restaurant was SO CLEAN. From the children's high chairs to the window sills and even the playground! And I know why... it has to be the first time EVER I've seen a maintenance guy. My family arrived after 11am and caught the maintenance guy finishing up in the playground area before heading outside. We ate in the 'party' room I think it is. Which was spotless. When finishing off our meals, I watched a manager wiping down the glass doors on the entrance way. The service was awesome, staff is a little meh. Sometimes you just get a feeling from them that they dont want to be there. But it doesnt take away from the service they provide. Meals were brought straight out to our tables. I've only ever used the drive thru since moving to the area 6months ago. And drive thru has been top notch also.
