La Porchetta Melton — Restaurant in Melbourne

Firstly, we reserved a table for six and only 4 of us had joined waiting for the others to get, it was like fast and furious at getting our food ordered and never asked for a drink order first. 4 times in 10 minutes they asked for our food order. Then they couldn't even get our order right after repeating it to us. The scallipini dishes were not. Just big slabs of meat (should be thinly sliced and battered) thrown on a plate with some sort of mushroom sauce. Apollo e avacado, was in Alfredo sauce and not white wine sauce. With no seasoning chicken chunks tasted old and I could not enjoy it with the bland taste and almost off chicken. Then take us to dessert, massive amount of chocolate mousse that you cannot even got to the bottom of the mason jar because it so rich other desserts were sickly sweet and not enjoyable. Then this takes me to the cleanliness of the bathroom. The smell was bad in the hallway and I felt like I was at off the highway road stop toilet. Disgusting. Had to squat over the toilet and lest not forget the vomit in the sink. I was grateful I had hand santizer in my hand bag. Just all around a terrible experience and this has put me off this chain for good. Will not be back and do not recommend this to anyone unless you are looking for a fast and furious serving experience gone completely wrong in an unclean atmosphere. Maybe you want to die of food poisoning...

First night out or dinner in 2 years and what a horrible experience. Firstly took about 4 minutes for someone to greet us and show us to a table. We ordered our meal and drinks. I had to ask for the bottle of water to be brought over as they forgot it. My friends pizza was meant to have red onions not brown as she requested as she can't eat them but yes the pizza had brown onions not red. My friends said her pizza was absolutely horrible and she has ordered same pizza at another la porches and never had issues with it. She couldn't even eat one slice of it. My pizza also lacked the ingredients that was stated on the menu and l asked for well done and this was not done. Overall the place was quite dirty with food on the floor and it was not busy in there just 3 couples. I used the rest room and was disgusted very dirty and no toilet paper hmm. Even after telling the staff member that the meal was horrible we were made to still pay for it even though most of my friends pizza was intact as a whole. I personally will never return to this store. Think l will rather stay home and eat a better meal. Sorry for bad rating but l will not lie and give a good one if l didn't have this experience l would have rated better. Staff also need better knowledge and training it...

I took myself and my 4 children out for dinner Thursday 18/9.

The live music, although it great was a little loud for the space, and night. I found myself shouting at my children a little bit just to have a conversation with them over dinner.

My 11 year old ordered a steak. He normally has it med (but not dripping in blood) told our server this and my sons steak came out well done. I can understand how this could be misunderstood - so it was no one’s fault. I wouldn’t have sent the steak back if it weren’t for my son almost breaking his jaw trying to chew his food. We told Natilie (✨✨✨✨✨) who was more than happy to get this fixed for my son so he could enjoy his steak. Natilie even gave my son a top up of his drink on the house because you could see she genuinely felt bad for the mix up (again, it was no one fault, just misunderstood communication) Natilie was very attentive to our table. My sons and I felt well taken care of! It was a great night the food was great (even with the mix up) we will be back again! Natilie deserves a raise! She was like an energizer bunny zipping around all night.

I hope Natilie and the other ladies enjoyed thier Nutella Calzone that my sons inspired them to make. 👌🏻✌🏻🫶🏻
