McDonald's — Restaurant in Melbourne

PITIFULLY DISGRACEFUL BEHAVIOUR BY SHIFT MANAGER AT APPROX 8:30pm 28/05/20. After getting home to find no fries in my order as a part of a meal I ordered I called up. Manager answered and informed me that the young girl on the speaker made a mistake, put the order through as single burgers. (Not sure how I ended up with a drink in that case). Then when I asked about a resolution she told me, and I quote “that’s not how it works, I told you the girl made a mistake”.

So I took my incorrect order into the store for a refund and was refused with no explanation. I threw it on the floor and no doubt that poor excuse for a manager made one of her underlings clean it up.

This person acting as a manager is antagonist, has limited knowledge on her role as managed and is argumentative with customers. I’m not the only one in my social group that’s had a run in with her and I for one will never be going to that...

What a disgrace for a McDonald’s store. I ordered 2 crispy snack wraps for my mum and I, only for the girl to put through the $8.00 aioli snack wrap, lucky I looked at the receipt and saw i was charged $19.00… refund given. I also ordered 2 apple pies. One of them had a “bite” out of it, took it back to the counter, the fellow working there was so nice and told the cook to make me another one PRONTO… Toilets are a let down… glass door leading to male, female, unisex toilets, shared wash basins. Toilet cubicles were sooo narrow my mum went to open the door only to scrape her fingers between the door and the toilet roll holder that is so stupidly mounted on the wall, and with arthritic fingers she’s still in pain (anyone who has arthritis will know what that’s like). This Maccas had filthy tables all round. They lad who makes the burgers thinks he is in an F1 pit crew throwing condiments everywhere but the burger. He then spins the boxed product as fast as he can from one end of bench to front counter. We have watched this closely before. Our burgers were covered in sauce everywhere with filthy sauced fingerprints all over the box. Turn off. I ordered a Big Arch not a burrito bowl. I've politely addressed this to staff the last time only to be gaslighted that they would look into it. Look into what? This happens in real time nearly always.
