Menzies Avenue Charcoal Chicken — Restaurant in Melbourne

Absolutely the best charcoal chicken i have been to, their chicken and chicken pieces are so tasty and delicious it's like it melts in your mouth.

Great friendly service, lovely people to serve you and have a bit of a chat and that look after their customers and make them feel welcome.

All items are well priced and fair and the drinks are cheaper than most or all other shops on menzies ave.

And i can't forget about the beautiful tasting salads they have on offer, never had a better salad the this shop.... simply the best all round.

10+ star rating for me, i know i can only mark as a 5 star rating but in my opinion, they deserve 10+ or more stars they...

After our local closed down, hubby and I have been looking for another charcoal chicken place and now we've found it!

The chicken was hot and juicy and bursting with flavour. The stuffing was top notch too. Chips were crisp and hot and cooked to order. Not sure what hits different about your chicken salt but it was amazing.

We were served by an older gentleman and he smiled the entire time even when we kept adding things to the order (it just all looked so good!) Such lovely and genuine service which is harder to come by these days.

We will definitely be seeing...

Man! The owner of this joint is so rude! I queried about the 17.50 price for a half chook large chips and gravy with two side salads and he sneered at his worker to "give me a discount next time". After I got home I didn't even have any gravy! WTH? Chicken was moist, nice flavours and the two salads (Greek and coleslaw) were just so so. I really wanted to like the chips as they were an excellent thickness, between thin and thick cut. But they were soggy as. Really disappointing. And...
