Friday night dinner at Shades Foods did not disappoint! 🇱🇰✨ We walked in to warm vibes and even warmer service — the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food? Authentic Sri Lankan flavours with a fun fusion twist. From the rich curries to the crispy hoppers and spicy sambols, every dish was bold, fresh, and beautifully plated.

There were two of us, and the portions were generous — we left happily full with leftovers for the next day (always a win!). Great value, great taste, great staff. If you’re craving a true Sri Lankan experience with modern flair, this spot is a must.

This place used to be a great place and was my go to place for a great Kottu.

However, today I ordered a roast chicken cheese Kottu and specifically told I wanted a "mild spicy" one and yet what I got was totally the opposite. The spicy level was through the roof! It was such a disappointment and a waste!

PLEASE BE MINDFUL WHEN TAKING ORDERS FROM YOUR CUSTOMERS...

PS: Thank you but no need for a compensated meal as it was only one takeout portion but please be mindful when taking orders from customers without being hasty. Anyways, I will change the ratings as I appreciate your positive...

I’m really disappointed with the food I received from this shop. I ordered the pork devilled expecting a decent portion of meat, especially for the price I paid over $18 per meal. But what I got was basically a capsicum, bell pepper, and onion stir-fry with barely any pork in it. It honestly felt like I was served a bell pepper devilled dish instead of what I ordered.
