Just had a "Shevid polo with spicy lamb shank" here. I gotta admit it was one of the most delicious Persian dishes I've ever tried. I would recommend if you wanted to try their lamb shanks, go with the spicy option🔥, their recipe is special and the gravy that comes with the dish on the side combined with the "tahdig" is a match made in heaven. Really enjoyed my time at this place and the employees were very polite and friendly. This place was suggested to me by my brother Shahrooz, and by the compliments I heard from him, I couldn't wait and went there the very same day, and I gotta tell you, I wasn't disappointed 👌 🍖Food quality: 10/10 🍴Customer service: 10/10 🏥 Overall hygiene: 10/10 📍Location: 9/10 💵 Price: 10/10 🍽️Type of dining (rec): Casual Dining/ Contemporary Casual/ Family Style

If you're ever feeling like tearing into a juicy and tender lamb shank for lunch, with a bit of rice and vegetables that all go well together, then you've got to try this place out. I've only tried the 'spicy' one, but considering it wasn't 'hot spicy' , I was afraid of trying the 'regular' one for fear of zero flavour, and presume they meant 'with more spices' instead for the one I do pick. Their chicken was nice too, but I'd still recommend the lamb shank first. They're also generous with the rice if you're really hungry (they almost gave me 3 times what I wanted) Absolutely recommend them for taste, flavour consistency and price reasonability.

Highly recommended, excellent food and good price. It's inside Food Plaza at 480 Collins. I had Kofte Kabab and rice, which was perfectly marinated and cooked. Food quality - fresh Food taste - amazing Price - value for money for the portion you receive Staff - very friendly and welcoming

Fars Food makes me feel like I'm having a nice home cooked meal. Chicken or lamb shank with the dill rice is so good, and the meat just falls off the bone.

It's located in an area where the food is predominantly burgers or sushi so Fars Food caters for people looking outside of those "usual" meals.
