I’m beyond frustrated with this place which we booked for my hens weekend. We had booked and paid a deposit months in advance, and we even had email confirmation that 12 spots were reserved for us. However, when we arrived at the originally confirmed location, we were told it was no longer there. Not only did no one bother to update us about the change, but we were also forced to rush to the new location, arriving 20-30 minutes late.

When we finally made it to the new venue, the workers were shockingly rude and completely unaccommodating. They had the audacity to tell us that it was a “walk-in class” and that because we were late (due to the lack of any update on the location change), we couldn’t join. This was supposed to be a special activity for a hens celebration, and we had guests who specifically traveled just for this experience. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.

One of the workers tried to call the woman we had been in contact with, but she just kept hanging up on us. When we finally managed to speak with her, she had no explanation for the mess-up and was completely dismissive. She repeatedly told us that we were late and that we could join a later class—in four hours! We had a full day planned, so this wasn’t an option. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, or any kind of remorse for the hassle they caused us. Instead, we were simply told that there was nothing they could do, and that we could get a refund on our deposit (which, frankly, was the least they could do).

This whole experience was extremely upsetting and ruined our day. I would NEVER recommend this class to anyone - purely based on how poorly we were treated by the staff. If you want a smooth, enjoyable experience, do yourself a favor and book...

Turkish and Middle Eastern homewares hold a special place in my heart. There’s something about the colours, textures and lighting that draws me in every time. I passed a shop in Elizabeth Street Melbourne often and recently picked up a little piece for my home. I was so impressed with the store, the staff and the range of items I just had to share. Art Masterclass is the world's most popular mosaic art studio and are Australia’s first workshop to teach the art of traditional Turkish mosaic lamp making. And you get to take your lamp home with you. You even have light snacks served during your class. You can book in for a 2.5-hour class and make yourself something unique and discover traditional Turkish culture. There are shops / classes all around Australia: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Rockhampton, Canberra, Newcastle,Gold Coast, Launceston, Hobart, Cairns Wollongong, Townsville, Coffs Harbour, Davenport, Canberra, Kiama, Albury, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Katoomba, Geelong Check out their range of rugs and textiles which will take your breath away. The lamps, particularly the swan lamps are stunning and would light up any space. Mug until get one for my balcony and bring in that Middle Eastern vibe. I have to say that I recommend because not only can you make your own piece but immerse yourself in the sensory and colourful experience. Notes: staff are excellent, locations accessible, food places nearby for a snack during your class,...

This place is incredible. Such a fun and gorgeous crafting class.

I absolutely adore my lamp and had the greatest time making it. The teachers are so knowledgeable and helpful guiding you through the process and I love that I have this beautiful creation to display and use in my house! The teachers and snacks are also delicious and a really lovely added touch to complete the experience

The prices are very fair for the experience and the customer service is above and beyond. When I went to set my lamp up at home the bulb it came with wasn’t working and when I contacted support to ask what type it was so I could buy a replacement they offered to send me a replacement out immediately at no extra charge.

They really care for their customers. I will absolutely be coming back again and again especially as they have a great amount of different options to explore! I have also done the painting class which was such a good time and another thing I feel so proud using in my home!

Thanks so much Art...
