We ordered Korean fried chicken, kimchi tofu stew, seafood noodle soup, pan-fried dumplings, and rice wine — and every single dish was a hit!

🍗 The fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside, coated in a sweet and spicy glaze that kept us reaching for more. 🥣 The kimchi tofu stew was warm, tangy, and comforting — the kind of dish that makes you feel hugged from the inside. 🦐 The seafood noodle soup was rich in umami, packed with fresh clams, squid, and noodles that soaked up all the flavor. 🥟 The dumplings were golden and crispy, and the dipping sauce gave it an extra kick. 🍶 The rice wine (makgeolli) was lightly sweet, smooth, and the perfect finish to the meal.

Loved the food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Would...

Got some takeaway from this place today. It looked nice inside, and very nice people serving. However, I would have to rate my meal as disappointing - Probably the most ordinary Korean I have ever had. I ordered a takeaway Beef Bulgogi. It came with a generous serve of rice, and a thimble of Kimchi. (Literally) The main dish, was reasonably tasteless, and the meat had lots of inedible tendons running through it. This dish is supposed to have a rich Bulgogi sauce, but this one just tasted like it was stir-fried in beef stock. So mild, so tasteless, so blah. I will not be coming back. Kimchi Grandma in Carnegie is just so much better... I am so disappointed - as I don't get to eat out or get takeaway...

Ordered chapssal tangsuyuk, kkangpung saewoo, jjajangmyun and jjamppong. The flavours were light which I really enjoyed personally. They also give you scissors to cut the noodles as an option which is very considerate. My favourite dish was the jjamppong as it had a very clean tasting broth, although I wished it was a little more spicier. Two people on the table can’t handle spice that well so I guess it worked out in their favour at least 😅. You can also ask for gochugaru if you want to add a bit of extra chilli pepper! They bring it out in a little shaker bottle. Definitely will go back and try out the other menu items. Service was...

Had a crave for Jjajangmyeon. Googled and this restaurant pops up with good reviews. Ordered the deep fried pork in sweet & sour sauce and Gan-jjajang (noodles in stir fried black bean sauce ) instead of the traditional Jjajang-myeon. As explained by the staff Gan-jjajang is stirred fried instead of boiled. In our opinion. We felt that the noodle dish tasted slightly bland with shortage of a wow factor to the overall taste as compared to the Jjajangmyeon we’ve tried in Seoul. The deep fried pork in sweet & sour sauce is the star! Simply delicious. Clean and spacious environment. Will be back for the deep fried pork dish.
