Edit your reviews reflect how rude the manager is Eh did not enjoy (12 years in hospitality myself - last 9 year managing venues) The older lady seemly running it was very hostile, non inviting & quite rude. Even after having made $130+ off us.

Trying to order for my 1 year old son who has FPIES with triggers such as dairy, oats & avocado. I had asked to make sure the nuggets and chips (not much options) are dairy free as it stated on the menu - I was surprised to hear “no” so they’re not dairy free as stated on the menu. Okay chips then.. I had asked the waitstaff (who was wonderful) if my son was able to have a couple of strawberries on the side of the chips in a ramekin? She proceeded to ask the woman in ‘charge’ “how much would I charge for some strawberries” - she replied “she can have some avo on toast or something”…… riiiiiiighhhhhttt, no actually my son cannot have that but thanks for the hospitality 😂 Ordered him just the chips as it was obvi the only thing on offer that they supplied and clearly had zero budge.

We were sat outside, the kids colouring- lady comes over starts picking up all the pencils (there’s 4 kids 1-3) and one other table outside away from us - seemingly she expected us not to pick them up?, and the children still actively colouring.

Anyway she wasted her time picking up pencils instead of doing her job and bringing cutlery to the table of 7 who had ordered 😂 so got my own cutlery that was a no no for her as she snatched it back off my two friends who had received their food and ready to eat - this was apparently next doors cutlery and she didn’t like that. Then made the sweet waitstaff bring the cutlery although she was seemingly doing not much other than taking the cutlery away from us lolling.

My friends had both gotten their food so my son was whinging for chips, so was sharing with his friend until his chips came. I said to my son “hold on buddy we’re waiting for your food” - she come bounding over “what are you waiting on” lol his order clearly go check the kitchen not with me doll.

My 1 year old ate the entire bowl of chips, so speaks to the serving size, he also had some strawberries off my plate 🫠🫠

After leaving I returned after about 20min of my son running off some energy before going in the car, to change his bum - as I was leaving I was met with a demeaning “bye lovely” 😅 clearly didn’t reply.

Saving grace was the blonde wait staff who clearly is doing her HOSPITALITY job immaculately, and the kitchen. But would never spend another cent...

This is more of constructive criticism as this cafe COULD be amazing.

But.

We decided to sit outside to enjoy our breakfast on a Sunday morning. No water was offered, nothing. Just sitting and waiting.

We flagged a girl down who advised we have to go in and order for the outside tables and pay when we order.

So did that and then sat outside.

Our coffees came quickly and they were delicious but.....no sugar or anything on the tables? No option to ask anyone either.

Meals took around 20 or so minutes to arrive but my partners poached eggs on toast was nice but the bacon amount was tiny. For $5 is was minuscule.

Mine was delicious though except there was no salt and pepper on the tables and the rostis had no taste.

When we finished eating someone then came over with just pepper? No salt. Weird.

There was no water offered, we had to go in and ask for some.

For feedback, a cart outside with salt and pepper water and cups would be great like other places do.

Also when it came to having to go in and order, we had others sit down after us and they ordered their coffees at the table??

We won’t ever go back but I hope they improve.

Had heard positive things so thought I’d give it a go. Walked in behind a couple who the waitress seated. Stood there for 5 minutes as nobody acknowledged me, finally asked the waitress if I should just take a seat. She was apologetic and said she thought i was waiting for something. Fair enough, it happens. Took a seat outside and another waitress came out, gave me a menu and some water and then walked off without so much as uttering one word to me. 15-20 minutes later I’m still sitting outside and nobody comes to take my order. Am I meant to order inside? The menu doesn’t say to and the waitresses didn’t speak to me so I guess I’ll never know. I got up and left to go next door to flourish and...
