Nando's Carrum Downs — Restaurant in Melbourne

I’d love to give a minus 1 star in this place but google won’t let me. It’s been about 12 months since my partner and I have ordered from here, but we decided to give it another go. Sure enough, nothing has changed. We ordered through Uber eats, which we always do, and the order was wrong.

I’m really not sure how hard it is, or how people struggle so much. We order a few different things, but the chips were left out, the mini pitas we left out and my partners salad had mixed seeds in it, even thought the order strictly specified no mixed seed.

The order also specified a large peri peri chips, which we didn’t get and a serving of mini pitas which we didn’t get. Now i know I can just complain through Uber eats and get my money back, but that doesn’t help me feed 2 hungry kids and a wife at dinner time.

I tried calling the restaurant 25 times, sure enough, no answer. Nandos online ordering system or customer care centre couldn’t care less, pretty disappointed to be honest.

This place takes no care with their orders, or with the quality of their food. It’s been 12 months since we last ordered here and can confidently say, it will be another 12 YEARS before I order here. Seriously carrum downs,...

Ordered from the Carrum Downs store delivered. Food arrived cold, buns soggy, lettuce wilted and ingredients missing! I dont even know where to start... paid $14 for peri peri chips which arrived cold and hard with ZERO seasoning. No peri peri and no salt. Burger was cold with wilted lettuce, soggy bread and inedible chicken. Pita was cold with one small piece of wilted lettuce. Absolute joke. Spoke to the uber driver and he said it was Nandos that made him wait. Tried calling 3x but said they are busy grilling and to try calling again. If we do not receive a full refund I will never be returning to Nandos again. Disgusting.

(Update) I then attempted again to order some more peri peri chips as I am pregnant and craving them and this is what I received after I made the request for extra as I had zero seasoning before. I'm not sure if they were trying to retaliate as I made a comment about it but we have again wasted our money on food that is inedible. I dont know why I tried. Your staff at the Carrum Downs store...

Worst experience ever!! Will never order food from here again.. got it delivered through UberEats (delivery was fine), but they left the chicken out of a quarter chicken and chips..how do you even do that? Haha.. so I call the store, get mumbled at then put on hold and forgotten about until another worker picks up the phone and says hello like shes only just answering the phone! After explaining what happened, she then goes on to ask me again what I ordered ??? Bad communication skills. She then tells me to come back and pick up the chicken, offers a half chicken instead of the 1/4 chicken, so my partner goes to pick it up and gets ignored in store for 20 minutes (no kidding), then finally when a staff member comes out to give him the chicken, they just leave it on the counter, no communication, no ''sorry for the inconvenience", no eye contact, no NOTHING! What is this place? lol.. if I could give NO stars I would. Absolutely pathetic. What ever happened to customer service? This place has got it all wrong...
