I placed an order online via the Nando’s app on 3rd December 2024 at 2:38 PM, choosing Nando’s Melton for the first time. My order included 2 sets of 8 BBQ chicken ribs (hot) and a large chips. As a frequent customer of Nando’s, primarily from the Caroline Springs location, I have a good understanding of the average preparation time for an order like this. However, I received a notification that my order was ready much faster than expected, which immediately raised concerns.
Upon collecting my order and returning home, I noticed significant issues with the packaging. The chips were carelessly placed sideways in the bag, spilling out and creating a mess. This forced me to reorder the items myself in the bag, as otherwise, the chips would have scattered everywhere by the time I got home.
When it came to the food itself, the quality was deeply disappointing. The chips were soft and lacked the crispy outer texture you’d expect from freshly cooked fries, suggesting they had either been sitting out for too long or were reheated. The BBQ chicken ribs, which were supposed to have the hot basting, were flavourless. There was barely any sauce applied, making the dish dry and unappetising.
Following this terrible experience, I checked their Google reviews and discovered their rating is a dismal 2.6 stars, which aligns with the poor quality of service and food I experienced. This is unacceptable for a brand like Nando’s, which usually prides itself on quality and consistency.
Nando’s Melton is falling far short of the standards set by other locations. It’s clear they are cutting corners, misleading customers with false advertising, and delivering food that does not match the brand’s promises. The staff lack the competence to properly prepare, cook, and package orders, and it seems the manager or owner is entirely indifferent to maintaining quality or retaining customers.
This kind of service is not only disappointing but also damaging to the Nando’s brand. I would strongly advise against ordering from Nando’s Melton, as it is evident that they are more focused on profit than customer satisfaction.

When you really can’t run this place. This is the second time my order is incomplete management should consider properly training their staff even go under training themselves because my order is over a $100 and you guys somehow mess it up every time. Chicken is burnt corn is undercooked forgot the chips twice.
NANDOS IN CAROLINE SPRINGS IS 10 TIMES BETTER. Not going to come here again. Waste of money and time.

Why have a contact number when you are not going to answer the phone? Staff is extremely lazy doesn’t answer the phone probably after you have rung them more then 20 times they might answer because they are too busy scrolling on their phone and chatting extremely long waiting period if you have been given 15 minutes be ready to spend an hour for the food or better cook at home that is much faster… Hire staff that actually works because you are definitely...
