We were lucky enough to secure Noisy Ritual as the venue and caterers for our wedding - and could not imagine a better way to celebrate.
When we first booked, I have to confess, we had no idea how to do a wedding. But from our first meeting with Kate at NR I knew we were in safe hands. Kate was super responsive to our many nervous queries in the lead up and actually made the whole experience of organising and hosting our family and friends fun, memorable and somehow almost effortless.
We opted for in-house catering by Eddie and his team and we were so pleased with that decision. As a pair of tragic foodies our expectations were seriously high, but as all our guests told us repeatedly throughout the night - the food and extensive wine list had something for everyone. While I won’t recite the whole menu, some of the crowd favourites included oysters with a Davidson plum vinaigrette, crispy cheese croquettes, pork belly and late night toasties!
A few people told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to (better even than their own)! Would have no hesitation recommending NR as a wedding venue for bougie inner...
Read moreHad a great experience at this bar/restaurant/winery.
Ordered a bottle of wine to share which was a good idea, one because we were there for couple of hours so didn’t want to keep asking for another glass of drink, second because they get quite busy and not many staff are on the floor so a bit hard to catch their eyes.
For starter we had cheese and nice fancy bread, the second last option on the menu. Would recommend, pretty delicious.
For dinner we had steamed fish and pork. Two totally dishes for obvious reasons, they both tasted good, pork was well cooked and juicy which came with beans 🫘 and sauces. The fish doesn’t come with any condiment or sides and my suggestion to the restaurant would be to probably add some sort of bread or even some fancy wild rice or normal ones to the menu. It’s a bit meh to have a steam fish on its own. I’d say the amount of salt was on the heavy side in both dishes.
And for dessert we shared a creme brûlée topped up with black rice puff which was delicious.
The place is quite charming and big, be sure to book in order to dine at the tables and not the...
Read moreI'm a marriage celebrant and had the absolute joy of marrying a gorgeous couple at NR earlier this year.
My couple had planned their ceremony for a park nearby but got rained out last minute with a massive deluge. NR's staff were so incredibly accommodating.
They opened the venue early so we could hold the ceremony where they had planned the reception. The space was just perfect for a ceremony. It certainly didn't look like a back up option! Everyone had a drink in hand, the ceremony was smooth and full of all the good feels and guests were able to just roll right into the reception and start the party straight away.
The venue is such a warm, vibrant, beautiful place. The staff are tuned in to all the fine details of your day and are genuinely committed to making sure you have the best day ever. The sound system is amazing. The vino is divine.
I've nothing else to add but to say if you want a relaxed vibe for your wedding or special event, with the security of knowing you have an awesome event crew at your back, look no further than...
