Nuts About Coffee — Restaurant in Melbourne

Came here based on reviews. But found terrible service. The one at the register on arrival just blankly stared at me for half a minute until I asked “should I sit down for table service?” This was 9.30am on a Saturday. Coffee was ok and yes they have cute takeaway coffee cups. Limited food options which is fine, croissant was fresh. Explored the courtyard - watched as other customers experienced no service provided in the courtyard including at least dropping off menus or checking in with the customers seated there. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience today. I stopped by to grab a quick bite before heading to work. I ordered a bun and was asked if I wanted it toasted, to which I agreed. After waiting for 15 minutes and watching everyone else get their orders, I was starting to get frustrated. I missed my train while still waiting, and I was the only one left without my food. At that point, I was so irritated that I just left without my order. I used to go to this lovely cafe for 2 years, then I moved houses. Now we’re back closer to the area. Every morning we walk or drive more than 3.5km to get out coffee although there are heaps of cafes around us. I don’t like any other coffees anymore:) Staff are always friendly, their coffee prices are below average, but amazing taste and quality. You can also get a free nuts biscuit with each coffee (I stopped this because I’m on diet!) and I should mention that the cups look exciting and they are BioCups. During stages of lockdown, going there and get coffee is something I look forward to do...
