Odos Tsimiski Greek Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

My friend walked past this place a couple of years ago and smelt the delicious food and heard the live music and dancing and suggested we try it. Basically covid happened so didn’t happen until tonight! It was such a lovely experience, totally worth the wait!! We had dips, bread, salad, chips and the lamb/chicken gyros - everything was authentic, delicious!! It was also so reasonably priced - we were all so satisfied and happy and for 4 ppl the total was $96. There was also the beautiful live music playing. The owner of the restaurant was lovely too! Can’t recommend this...

On my way home after work, stopped and purchased the take away special of lamb souvlaki, potato wedges and greek salad with tzatziki, DELICIOUS! Huge serve, charcoal meat was succulent, just perfect! Coming back for sure for the calamari next time but even a better reason to support local businesses. Friendly, welcoming staff fluent in Greek and English. Shown to sit down, waited 10 minutes for food, listening to live greek bouzouki duo...what a little unexpected treat! Decor basic, but go for the food, forget the pizza...you won't be...

We arrived late with my friend joining another group of friends. We had a few glasses of red but we were hungry so we asked if we could have anything to share. I guess it was one of the owners who served us a stir fried sausage with a few slices of tomato & cucumber and a couple slices of white bread on the side. Still can't believe we had to pay $35 for it! The price on the menu is $14! We got ripped off! Not going to visit again,...
