Order chana Bhatura, Bhatura a little bit oily, cooked from premixed Bhatura dow not authentic as per indian restaurants, chana taste is good with mild spices, they don't use fresh vegetables n herbs to garnish. Food is being served in Disposable stuff which is very less in quantity. I got one Bhatura plate packed but sorry to say they even don't know how to pack a fryied Bhatura or poori like stuff, it should in be open bag but the counter guy managed Bhatura by rolling and twisting Bhatura in packing plate. I asked him and his reply was very rude. Refill of chana is chargeable @AUD 4 in dine in which is totally unfair trade practice.salad quantity is less even they are charging about 25% higher in prices comparing to other Indian food outlets in Clayton, Tarneit or Creigiburn. It's my personal opinion that Desis are looting their own country people here in Melbourne. Person was from Rajsthan, India, very rude and arrogant behaviour for their customers. Not recommended at all. Hand washing basin was choked with vegetables washing and no any hand tissue or dryer there.

We visited Pind Bhatura today for the first time nearly 3:30pm and we ordered 3 aloo paranthas and 1 mix parantha From which 1 aloo parantha was uncooked from the middle as it was too thick, we asked the staff to fix it as we couldn't eat that thick and uncooked parantha. As we all know and we all do cook this at home as well. But the staff couldn't fix it as it was already made so they gave it after warming it up which didn't work well. So we did n'tate that one and left it there. At the time of billing, we asked them if we didn't eat that one parantha so why you are charging us for that as we didn't eat it. But they stated that it would be on their head if they didn't charge us. Then we explained that we genuinely understood the professionalism here but we didn't eat so, why should we pay for the thing that we didn't eat. But still, they charged us for that thing that we didn't eat which is not appreciatable. The food was good according to the taste but this scenario disappointed us.

I happened to be in Clayton and searched for lunch options. Pind Bhatura's reviews and photos convinced me to try it, but my experience was different. The staff was hardworking, but the taste was average. The Chole lacked the typical Punjabi flavor, resembling homemade rather than restaurant quality. The food was neat and served in biodegradable plates. I ordered Chole Bhature and Chole Kulche. The Bhature had generous accompaniments, but the Kulcha plate lacked achaar and onions. Kulcha was moist and fluffy and bhature was also good. If you pick up your game on the chole it can take you next level. Chai was made to order fresh and kadak. Quick service was a plus.

Average local Indian takeaway, we were recommended by a friend to try their chole bhature. We ordered same and must say the bhatooras were nice crispy and oil free, I didn't like the flavour of chole and neither did my partner. The paneer parantha was thick and heavy, again it was good but not mind boggling. Chai was something 5/5 as we got exactly what we wanted.

Yes, I would recommend this place to my friends in local area but its not to the level yet where I would ask them to travel to get to this place.

I believe it's a relatively new venture and I wish the owners all the best but they definitely need to work on their customer service skills. Hence for me it's a 4 star place with room for...
