AMAZING. 30percent cheaper takeaway instore. current menu as of today aug 2023 attached. Perfectly cooked with crispy batter. Thick large pieces of fish (flake and whiting pictured). perfectly salted. i really cant fault their fish. Their chips arent the uber crispy type i like (more the traditional type), so i usually just get two large pieces of fish for myself...for only 7 bucks a piece. unbelievable value.

Ordered a snapper pack which came with a huge snapper, decent amount of chips and a can of drink for 8.50. Fish was big, fresh and not oily at all. Chips were a little soggy not sure why, but it tasted alright. Bought a tartare sauce for $1 and hmm, the tartare sauce wasn’t that tasty as I thought it would be but it’s an external brand, so yea. Other than that, friendly owners, affordable and nice food 👍🏻

One of the best fish and chips shop I've ever been too. Fish was extremely crunchy and fresh and the chips were nice and warm. Not only that, it was cheap for its size. Definitely recommend people to try this out.

My friend and I have traveled to every continent save for Antarctica, yet when eating a fish burger from Clayton Fish & Chippery she exclaimed "This is the best meal i have ever eaten!" I laughed out loud and said she couldn't possibly be serious, I reminded her of all the amazing places we have been and the amazing dishes we have eaten, however she remained adamant that this is THE best meal she has EVER eaten. So I had to go inside and convey her approval to the chef whom just replied...
