Today I felt like trying old school fish & chips as it felt like forever since I had. I grew up eating fish & chips every Friday night with my family, so it's something dear to me.

Decided to try Port Melbourne Chippery, and I'm so glad we did.

The service was great. I rattled off a quick complicated order that was met with 'no problem'.

Cooked in a flash and packaged with precision. Always a plus in my books.

And the food eclipsed my expectations by a long way. Delicious, fresh, tasty. Really made my day and took me back to a time which I loved so much.

I've been frequenting this venue for over two decades and the food quality has ALWAYS been meticulously maintained over all these years (NO "commercial shortcuts"). Service was outstanding we turned up at lunch and it was busy the staff were great asking did we want fresh food cooking or from the hot counter they served us our food outside nothing was any trouble to them they were so polite and the food was top notch all fresh and very tasty the kebab is different level to others IV tried I then went back in with my young daughter who wanted fried chicken they told me 15min till freshly cooked chicken ready they brought it out as soon as cooked and it was wow all you people who go KFC think again try these guys out the spit roast chicken is unreal and they have so much selection next time I'm in Melbourne IL be hitting this place up thanks for the...
