This review is long overdue now and we spotted this Gem of a place one random arvo strolling along bay street and Mum And I decided to grab a quick bite at lunch and were very pleased we did because the food was absolutely amazing and the portions were really good too. It’s really good value for money as the food was served hot and the flavours really sat well in the mouth. We loved everything that we ordered and when we met the owner we met a very nice down to earth gentleman who is very warm and nice ☺️ All the staff is very attentive and always greeted us with a genuine smile. All throughout we abolished enjoyed the food and would definitely be back for the amazing food and obviously the hospitality and highly recommend it too if you love good quality delicious Vietnamese food or if you need a new place to try and you can thank me later. ✌️☺️ Really nice...

If your looking for a quick cheap and cheery place to eat Asian food then you can’t go past this place

Not far from Coles in Bay Street Port Melbourne it’s a small shop restaurant with out door area (with heating)

Food is non specific Asian food mainly Vietnamese but you can get other Asian dishes - they have a large menu catering for lots of different types of Asian food

They do a good take away business and you can normally find a table for two (May have to eat outside) without booking

Tables turn over fast as people come for a quick meal rather than a long dining experience

As Bay Street offers many food alternatives you do need to be good to stay in business - the staff are always happy and kind so it offers a family friendly vibe

Secondly, the taste was just average, with no standout flavors. The broth was rather bland, and the toppings didn’t seem fresh, lacking overall appeal. What’s more frustrating is the high price, which doesn’t match the quality offered — it feels overpriced. For the same price, there are plenty of better options nearby with richer flavors and more generous portions. Unless the ambiance or service is exceptional, it’s hard to see a reason to return.
