A Local Gem – Saigon San Never Disappoints! I have been coming to Saigon San for years, and it remains my absolute go-to spot in Albert Park! Conveniently located just up the road from where I work, it’s the perfect place to stop by before or after work for a fresh, delicious, and satisfying meal.
Their menu is packed with flavor and variety—from their comforting, aromatic pho to their fresh and vibrant rice paper rolls, hearty noodle dishes, and crisp, refreshing salads. Every dish is beautifully prepared, bursting with authentic Vietnamese flavors, and made with the freshest ingredients. Whether I’m craving something light and healthy or a warming, nourishing meal, Saigon San always delivers.

I had the wonton noodle soup which was hot, fast and tasty. The wontons were fat and flavoursome and the delicious soup was further enhanced by the fresh chilli and bean shoots that I stirred through.
The service was excellent and the price - around $12.50 for a large steaming bowl - is the same as I’d pay on Elizabeth Street in the city. With tables inside and outside on Victoria Avenue this is perfect day time or night time eating all year round.
Saigon Sen is located right next door to the iconic Jock’s Ice Cream, just over Richardson Street.
