The menu consists of an array of delights influenced by culture & the traditions of Italia, illustrated in a modern simplistic style combining textures, colors & flavors, taking Centre stage of the simple & elegant backdrop interior of the venue. From jewels & creatures of the sea such as fresh oysters, fish of the day & seafood pastas/risotto to the most heart melting /soul quenching porchetta (slow cooked pork with the best crackling I have ever encountered! No words can do justice here!). The pastas are delicious, hearty, comforting- my favorite has to be the 4 cheeses gnocchi - it’s just all I need some times- creamy combination of complimenting cheeses & perfectly cooked shells of gnocchi to please any pallet. These delights may be enjoy with the best range of quality wines & beers, however, a special mention goes to the magical potions- the cocktail list- Uniquely designed with character & fun-takes on conventional recipes- definitely the work of an artistic mixologist… After all this indulgence.. no matter how full & content you are, you just cannot go past the desserts menu- every dessert is a treat for the senses- (i would never ever share my dessert!) I do not think even the Roman emperors ate this well! Whether it’s to pick up a morning coffee, an afternoon lunch, a romantic date, family celebration or even work meetings/function, San Lorenzo will make every experience an unforgettable one.

I absolutely love this place! I dined there in July. I went to book and it was booked out so I put in a request for a certain date for my partners 40th birthday and they rang and fitted us in, my partner was greeted by his name when we arrived and wished a happy birthday, we were seated in a beautiful booth and had the vibrant Elvis look after us for the night, who went above and beyond. The wait staff were very attentive! I hate when you have to try and flag them down to do your order or to get a drink! No problem with that at this place, I don’t know who’s cooking these amazing meals back there but OMG just Devine! The way the sauces were, the steak, the chilli just enough to feel it but not to much to ruin the meal, and I don’t normally eat chilli in my food but the way it was done you just know they know how to cook the most exceptional dishes. I’m a very very fussy eater so it can be stressful going to restaurants but this place would have to be the most impressive place I’ve been to, the only problem is now I see how bad the service is everywhere else! This lovely group of people know what it takes to run a business and I can see why they are successful! If I could eat here every week I would it’s just such a special experience! I’m planning on bringing my friends and family here on a regular basis … oh and just a tip its just behind the BP off the highway and when you get there it’s not the building in front it’s the one behind you can park out the front or drive down the left hand side to the underground carpark you have to tap your credit card but you don’t get charged. And be much closer if it’s bad weather or you have someone who has issues with walking. We discovered San Lorenzo by chance late last year, just a short 20-minute drive from home, and it’s quickly become one of our favourite dining spots. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm, friendly service and a professional atmosphere that elevates the entire dining experience.

The menu offers everything you’d expect from a high-end Italian restaurant, with an impressive focus on quality and creativity. The specials change regularly, providing exciting variety alongside their already exceptional core menu. One standout feature is the antipasto section, where you can customise your entrée by selecting individual pieces—perfect for sharing or creating a personal tasting experience.

The seafood options are outstanding, both in freshness and variety, while every dish is carefully crafted with a balance of flavour, texture, and presentation. Some of our favourites include the kingfish dish, burrata special with figs, zucchini flowers drizzled with honey, fish specials, prawn pasta, steak, and the gnocchi with beef. Each dish offers a wonderful interplay of crunch, flavour, and texture that leaves a lasting impression.

San Lorenzo is also incredibly accommodating with dietary requirements, making thoughtful adjustments to ensure everyone can enjoy their meal. Whether it’s a cool day or a warm summer evening, the restaurant creates the perfect atmosphere for a date night or a special occasion. This is now our new go-to date night spot!
