By far the best fish and chips around. I drive well out of my way, past half a dozen other shops just to come here. I literally burned my mouth with one of these potato cakes when I left because I just can’t wait to eat one as soon as I leave, I challenge you to find a better potato cake. Fish is beautiful soft juicy white, fresh as it gets. They must use clean oil constantly because I’ve been coming for at least a year and have always got top quality, fresh, perfectly cooked food that isn’t oily. Staff are all beautiful people and very friendly, owner is a top bloke and has a good chat with all his customers. Even knows so many of them by name, I noticed last time I was there. Everyone I recommend this place to has never gone anywhere else since they have been the first time.

That said, I have to mention that I saw some reviews that are clearly fake when I was showing a friend this place online. All sorts of lies about being sick from the food. I have digestive issues and am easily affected by even slightly bad food, and I have NEVER had anything but the freshest food here. If you are a competitor, at least put some effort in your fake reviews - or better yet, try using clean oil and using quality products to get business that way so you don’t have to make up lies. I will gladly take my business to the place with the best food, my loyalty lies with my wallet and my stomach - that’s why I drive out of my way to come here.

Seabrook Fish and chips is by far the best fish and chip shop I have ever visited. I heard about this place a while ago but only when I started seeing it on social media I realized how good it was. At first I thought it was decent like any fish and chip shop, but my god was I wrong. The fish is so flaky crispy and has an excellent flavor. The chips are really fluffy inside and have enough salt but not too salty like some other fish and chip shops. The potato cakes are amazing and so tasty, salty and rip apart so easily you can tell they're freshly made. And don't even get me started on the calamari it is soft tender and juicy with the perfect amount of seasoning. Everything here is amazing especially the value of the food $13 for a fish pack or 6 piece calamari ring pack with a load of chips to leave you full, and you get a can of drink as well especially with inflation and rising cost of living. This place is so good I would recommend anyone in Melbourne to try you won't be disappointed and if this place was on the stock market I would invest and watch my money grow. I am no labor supporter but with the local for the electorate Tim Watts visiting recently I can see this place really has potential to keep growing. Carl - The Owner is a generous soul, and even adds an extra potato cake - AT NO EXTRA COST to you because thats the kind of decent (not greedy) family business he runs.

Its fair prices, and delish fish n chips are worth the trip. I have scouted a 30km radius for the best F & C's in the area, (over 23 years) and I am of the opinion that Carl is the stand out winner for his expertise in serving the best in the West!!

I would like to add their Suvalaki wraps are D.E.V.I.N.E!!! I had lamb (or chicken or fish) wrapped in a homemade flat bread, and a garlicky sauce over a wonderful salad. Mmmm

Carl is a great trader, and looks after his customers, with his dedicated family and lovely friendly staff to spur him on. I believe that Good people who look after their Customers in business deserve GREAT reviews.

If you see the Petrol Station on Point Cook Road in Seabrook, turn into this and the Seabrook Fish and Chip Shop is sitting along the side group of shops behind the petrol station.
