Red Rooster Altona Meadows — Restaurant in Melbourne

Since this store is on my way to work, I usually come through Wednesday mornings because the drive thru at maccas is always packed. I’ve almost always been served by the same guy every time, and my go to is a regular flava wrap combo which is always ready for me as soon as I get to the window. However this particular morning on Wednesday I was asked to park as they were waiting on fresh chips which is totally fair enough but I’m scared that I may have made the guy working that morning a little uncomfortable and I hope he gets this review

When he came to my car to hand me my order I asked for his Instagram because I thought he was really cute but he sort of just laughed awkwardly and told me he couldn’t because of privacy reasons or something. I never even got his name, but I hope if you are reading this just know I’m really sorry if I came over a bit too strong and/or made you feel uncomfortable 😭😭

Overall the service is great, food is amazing and the chips are always fresh especially in the morning Hopefully one day I can come in store to apologise to him...

I go to red rooster , for the cheapest competitive food ,takeaway,and the taste, today I went through the driveway , to get 2 meals, so ordered , wanted 3 minutes, in drive-thru,staff then said , could I park in pickup area,which I did ,one small pick up area , not even enough space for my small sedan,.I waiting ten minutes, got abused by a white four-wheel driver, swearing that I was in the way , I got out ,said complain to the manager not me, I was reversing and driving forward for , 3 minutes , to squeeze into tiny space , just so the 4 wheel drive could get through, I was threatened with assault by the driver , so got back in the car,had to walk into store because still waiting in the car for another 10 min , they should observe the vehicles , as I was there first, so should be served first, not last, so not going back to that store , again, if U want us to park , how about , U provide more than one space,and don't do other...

Unorganised counter staff try to upsell not wearing gloves. Staff at the rear behind the counter handling food with no hair net and hair with dreadlocks only one glove on one hand and handling peoples fpod this way!!! . Burger was soggy and just slapped together chicken in the burger was over cooked and dry chips were soggy the whole meal was unedible what a what a waste of $15. Not going to this place ever sgain!!! First time for me last time now . Clearly not complying with the Food Safety Act. No contact tracing for Corona virus COVID19 and clearly not complying with either not wearing a hair net when preparing food and preparing food with only one glove!!!
