EDIT - responses from owners clearly ignoring the situation and mocking their ordering?? (didn’t even order LAMB as per the chicken pictured) and ignoring the fact there was no lettuce and old tomatoes along with half an onion and suggesting I need help with a menu never gets anyone back does it. Rude. Told to come here on recommendation.. sadly disappointed! 🫤 ….especially as “secret souv” is so close! The wraps were missing the lettuce.. I ended up shredding some myself and adding! The tomatoes were old and mealy, They were mostly packed out with onion (pic posted is the “extra” onions out of ONE souv that had to be picked out because it was “too much” - did u mention adding my OWN lettuce?! ..and MISSING THE CHIPS!! Described as coming in each souva.. if I had known you were leaving them out, I would’ve ordered a serve to share. Small in comparison to other places local for the same price… staff were friendly, but I doubt I’ll be back after that. The secret sauce was also nothing special. Disappointed.

Tucked away in the centre of Ashwood lies a hidden pocket of shops, going unnoticed by those travelling past on the major roads. Walking through at lunch time, you are overwhelmed with the incredible smell of charcoal cooked meats emanating from one of the establishments. Enter Secret Souv, a small but quaint greek restaurant. The walls are decorated with greek ornaments and greek music playing from the speakers. This warm little restaurant was a sight to behold on our empty stomachs. The staff were very pleasant and we were shown to a table immediately. Ordered a couple of Souvs which came out quickly. My goodness! The lamb and chicken were to die for. Crispy on the outside, soft and succulent on the inside - out of this world. Our Souvs had fresh garnishes and incredible sauces. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend

Can you imagine an authentic Greek food joint deep inside a quiet suburb? I didn't! I found Secrect Souv when I was searching for restaurants on Google maps for a quick fix. It's a gem, and I think it's no longer hidden. The best for us was grilled Haloumi which was fresh and delicious. The thing with Haloumi is that you have to eat it while it's warm, or it gets chewy. The meat was juicy and soft. Pita bread was freshly made so that tested great. They make lentil kofta fresh, and you can actually tell. My only complaint is that the koftas are less in quantity. Just one more will balance the quantity for vegetarians. The service was friendly and quick. There is enough parking on the street. You can have a group gathering at this place. Will be back some day.

Absolutely disgusted with the service from Secret Souv. Ordered via Uber Eats tonight at approximately 6:30pm. App said delivery would take about an hour. No problems. Delivery kept getting pushed back, so we called the restaurant to see if things were going okay. Spoke to a lady on the phone who read my order back to me (so they clearly had it on file), told me there were only 3 orders in front of mine and it would be our for delivery in 10 minutes - no problem. 15 minutes go by, so I called the restaurant again. This time, the lady said the order was ready and being picked up - it was now 8pm, a whole 1.5hrs after ordering. Another 10 minutes go by, order gets cancelled on Uber Eats. Called the restaurant multiple times with no answer. Long story short, no food ever delivered and no communication from the restaurant.

Don’t waste your time...

Dropped in for a quick bite to eat and a dessert and Greek coffee. Upon entering we were greeted with a big smile from our female hostess. She took our order and introduced the owner and chef Alex to my partner and I. Alex also with a warm smile welcomed us. We had a light meal of Lukaniko with Taramosalta and Pitta bread. Followed by Baklava with a Greek coffee. The Baklava was excellent as the nuts were crushed finer than most other Baklava that I have had. This made it easier on the palat. The mixture was rich and creamy with traditional Filo pastry on top. I later found out that Alex's mother had made the Baklava and I have to say she has a special talent when producing sweets of this calibre. Well done. Would I go back again? Of course I would, Friendly staff, good food and realistically priced. What more can one want? Well done...
