Sphere Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

Had a horrible experience at this place. First of all they told us they did not have hash browns and then 5 mins later they served hash browns to a customer after telling us we could have a bowl of chips in stead. We waited 30 mins for our meal and there was only us and 2 other customers waiting before we politely went up to one of the employees and she replied sorry we are under the pump. Then 10 mins later the customer who ordered after us received his meal. At this point we had had enough and walked out. This worst place for service I had recived ever and we do not recommend this...

When this place first opened many many years ago (it was previously a milk bar back in the early 2000's), it was fantastic. Back when Emily was the barista (around 2007ish) and the rest of the crew were there. Coffee and food were top notch!

It has new owners now, and has gone way downhill in comparison to how good it used to be. Stopped in last week as i hadn't been there since 2007. The decor inside is 100% exactly how it was when it first opened (almost 20 years ago).

This place is a disgrace!! Food was near colder than the north pole. The staff are extremely rude and have been trained by the grinch. I've never had such a poor food experience in my entire life and I've been to third world countries.
