This was my first time visiting, and while the fish I ordered was quite good, the behaviour of the owner was absolutely unacceptable. The owner, an Asian lady, repeatedly snapped at a young staff member who was clearly doing her best. This employee appeared to be a teenager, and from what I observed, she was polite, respectful, and trying hard to keep up.
There is no excuse for the way she was spoken to. It was harsh, demeaning, and completely inappropriate, especially in front of customers. It made the atmosphere tense and uncomfortable. That young staff member deserves patience and encouragement, not public criticism.
Let me be very clear: your customers see this. We notice how you treat your staff, and it reflects very poorly on your business. Good food alone is not enough. If you want your business to grow, you need to learn how to treat people with basic respect and decency.
And to the young employee, if you ever read this, I wish you all the best. You did a wonderful job, and I could see how hard you were trying. I know itâs not easy, especially if this is your first job, but please know that youâll go on to do bigger and better things. Keep your head up,...

Calamari burnt but not cooked properly inside very chewy and uneatable.Chips also undercooked still hard in the middle not soft. Finally, a fish & chip shop doing things the old-school, proper way! Just had a feed at Shark Attack in Springhill Shopping Centre, and before ordering I asked the big question, âWhat oil do you use?â The friendly lady behind the counter told me, no seed oils here, they use animal fats.
Thatâs rare as henâs teeth these days, and it makes a big difference. The chips were golden, crisp, and full of flavour, and I didnât walk away with that heavy, greasy feeling you get from canola or soybean oil.
If youâre someone trying to cut out industrial seed oils or just miss the taste of how fish and chips used to be done, this is the place.
đ Hats off to Shark Attack for sticking to tradition and...
