Sizzlers Kebab — Restaurant in Melbourne

Pleasantly surprised with the lamb HSP. The food was cooked fresh and seasoned well. The meat/sauce/chip ratio absolutely on point and overall the taste hit the spot.

I have to make note of the price tag though, it is a little the expensive side so prepare you wallets. Even a simple kebab meal was around the $30 mark which I must admit seemed like a bit of reach considering other competitive locations will charge far less. Also, the overhead price board stipulates a medium HSP at $20 but when I went to pay it was a little over $22. Small qualm I know, and I’m not too fussy with things like this to be honest, however maybe update the price board. Happy to pay what is asked, continuity would just be nice that’s all.

The bro running the place was very polite and accomodating even organising for one of the trainees to fetch a metal spoon for me when I was happy to use the disposable ones. Appreciate the gesture, my guys.

Never go back again! My main issue first a 2 staff who serving.Very slow look like they don't know what to do. I got my kebab cold the bread not heat it up at all the meat was cold and not much .The ladies didn't ask what bread I want they just start making it .My chips was over salty I had to tough away.I payed $27 for this??I had kebabs for less price with much more meat anywhere else. My massage to the management. Please train your staff how to make this type of food ask them to taist it as well because those ppl never can make the food right who never tried it before.They must undestand what a different between a cold sandwich and a warm kebab. I am sad because the meat was tasty and all ingredients fresh just need someone who knows how to make it right and not making a customer wait for one kebab half an hr with 2 staff. Great food - when you can get it.

I've visited numerous times and this is the best kebab shop in the area, hands down.

The meat is fantastic. It's cooked well and spiced to perfection. The chips are always cooked perfectly and their seasoning is delicious.

If you ask for extra sauce, you'll get it. Both kebabs and HSPs are second to none.

Their salads and rice dishes are also well worth getting and compliment the main dishes.

The only real problem is that management don't understand supply and demand. About 60 percent of the time I've visited they've been out of either chicken, lamb or both. By 7pm. How a kebab shop regularly runs out of meat by dinner time is beyond me.
