Smokin Joes Pizza & Grill- Whittlesea — Restaurant in Melbourne

They have only been open a short while but have become our 'go to' destination when we crave pizzas. Generous amounts of fresh toppings using real ham and real prawns amongst the other usual ingredients. I usually get a 'Supreme' that truly is one (Ham, Mushroom, Onion, Salami, Capsicum, Pineapple, Prawns, Bacon + Olives) or 'Prawn' (Fresh Prawns, Spinach, Roast Peppers, Garlic + Chilli). My step daughter loves the 'Sticky Chicken Wings' and the 'Joes Favourite Pasta' (Chicken, Bacon, Mushroom, Spinach + Rosé Sauce). Now that lockdown has finished and we can again dine in, we are keen to try their 'Ribs' which are said to be good. We order pizzas via their app which indicates the waiting time...which to date has been pretty accurate with pizzas always ready to go when I arrive. The app also has deals to choose from. The staff are very friendly, efficient and seem to enjoy...

Pizza is nice but could be hotter. Prices good. Service ok. Bit slow, as we were the only people in there, took a while. But the chips. Some hot some cold. How? Why put spices on them. Shouldnt it be my choice. I dont like spices or herbs. But we dont understand how some chips were hot and others cold and rubbery. Clearly some had been sitting there, then got mixed in with our hot chips. So keep this up, and watch how quickly you go out of business. Always, always, always serve fresh hot food. Your customers will return again, and again. But not for cold rubbery chips. Hope the message gets through. Shouldnt have to be told. Its not something you should be doing...

Ordered for delivery from Chisholm, called after 1 hour for update was told 'its just coming out now'.. Stone cold pizza, stone cold ribs, stone cold chips, stone cold garlic bread, stone cold loaded fries, but the bacon was burnt to a point it was unrecognisable, cheese looked like it was put on a week ago - unreadable. couldn't be more sickening - did not even feed it to my dog - straight in the bin. So disappointed - the lie that it they would make sure it was hot was the worst part - the only way to make it colder would have been to freeze it. nearly $100 order, wasted and available in my bin if they...
