South Morang Fish and Chips — Restaurant in Melbourne

Appalling service! Ive been calling for over half an hour only to have the phone ring out. Then once they did answer after the 10th+ phone call i was greeted with an employee laughing hysterically as she tried to compose herself to take my order only to be hung up on! Assuming they were busy as it is a long weekend and very little open my partner and I went out of our way to come down and make an order only to arrive to an empty shop and a group of rude employees making it extremely evident that our business was a hassel with their reluctance in no way trying to be hiden. This being one of many issues that have arisen over this summer. Obviously we left without ordering and this will be the last time I or any of my friends and family give this ONCE tasty and respectful business OUR business!

And a message to the owner of this establishment. You had a great product in a good location with some lovely employees, your only mistake was leaving it in the hands of immature kids that are more interested in goofing around than your customers. Dont let them run it to...

South Morang fish and chips use to be the best fish and chips around northern suburbs but unfortunately I must say that it has gone down in service dramatically and the hamburgers are like dog food ,, I payed nearly $40 for 3 hamburgers and chips witch is usually a very beautiful meal but it was a waist of $40 for my dog to eat,, if these people think they are going to sell rubbish to the people and still operate they are dreaming , I’d say they have changed owners and the new owners don’t care about their customers so I will not eat dog food from this shop again and I ask everyone to not let this shop continue to rip the people off and sell dog food to its customers and go elsewhere to feed their family and be satisfied with there meal not disappointed broke and still hungry , health department should be notified about the rubbish they are serving , close up sell up and never buy or open another food outlet in...

There are Fish n chip shop burgers and then there is this Masterpiece...... for those of you following along at home, I don't go for the "lite" eats, it needs to be big and it needs to make me feel like regrets are required afterwards.

This was both but I have no regrets in the grand scheme of things cos this was hands down the most amazing Burger I have had from a Fish n chip shop, the double beef, the three pieces of bacon and the Quadruple cheese..... omg hook it up to my veins 🤤🤤🤤🤤

my only qualm was that I asked to have the egg froed extra well as I'm a little funny with a runny egg, it was on the verge that it "squirted" out a little yolk but the overall flavour made up for it !!!
