This is my first restaurant review and only doing it to save others hard earned money...Have ordered several different dishes on seperate occasions from here and they have ranged from bland to inedible(renovating so kitchen was out of order)...will not be coming back..they advertise broken rice yet use normal rice with no explanation given.(the main reason you order broken rice is because it is broken).their pho was the best dish as at least it was edible even though its no where near great..their fried chicken rice with peas was barely edible..it was called nasty and was only eaten as he was starving..even so he only ate a third.. have never eaten fried rice with just peas in my life..the absolute worst dish was their salted fish and chicken rice..have eaten this from many great restaurants before and was looking forward to a lovely meal..what we got was a plate of salt with the supposed fried rice which had peas and two lettuce leaves..it smelt and tasted so bad we would have loved to drown it in soysauce to make it even remotely palatable..something we never have to do with good food..except the level of salt in the dish was so high we couldnt have added any soy..after a few mouthfuls my tongue went numb from all the salt..it was inedible..really sad to pay good money for something that is worse than what you can make at home..can only hope as more competition comes into the area quality will improve..we love supporting local unfortunately we would rather travel to the city and reheat it than be subject to the terrible food on offer..please stop treating your customers with such contempt we...
Read moreThe food is quite nice. I didn't want much to eat but the rice paper rolls were bigger than I expected, don't get me wrong I am not complaining about them at all, in fact I loved them. I would however like some with tofu or omelet in them with the vegetable option.
The main we shared and that was number 145 or vegetables with chicken and cashews, this was quite yummy and it was not spicy and it didn't make me feel over full.
We were well supplied with water and they also serve you mint, lettuce leaves and coriander leaves to accompany the dishes.
You are best to order a few starters between a few of you and say two mains between four and then you can fit desert in. I guess it depends on how much you can eat and how hungery you are.
As for the price, I would put it mostly on the lower end of the budget, but you don't want to be having it every day.
Yes they do takeaways, it is also a BYO (wine only) restaurant. There is disabled car parks and disabled entry. The restaurant is on the ground floor so no stairs.
I think this place would be great for groups even parties, so why not give them a go. With over 260 items on the menu there's sure to be something for everyone. Also the staff are lovely, if you want something or have a problem just ask and talk to them.
I will be back with family and...
Read moreVery disappointed. It started out well. The menu looked good and the prices fair. Ordered the Wonton soup which was great but it all went down hill from there.
At $8 for spring rolls I would have expected them to be thicker then my little finger. The salt and pepper chicken had bones (which should be stated on the menu) and was nice enough but it was in a sweet sauce??? Why? Everything we ordered was very sweet. Dishes that normally arnt sweet! The crispy noodles were anything but crispy. Beef and vegetables? Lol it had 3 half mushroom 3 slices of carrots 2 bits of broccoli and some boy chow. Absolutely no flavor. All in all it was horrible.
On top of that, the staff kept glaring at us because our son was upset. He was upset cause he was thirsty and we were still waiting on water for the table 20 mins after asking for it. Staff at the bar were rude whenever I went up to ask again for something. Not only that but it was next to impossible to get someone to come take our orders or two bring the bill or collect the bill.
The highchair was dirty and they had no plastic plates or cups for children. The bench seat was ripped to pieces and there wasn't enough cuttlerly at the table including no knives.
Will not...
