I came into this store today and was served by a mature-aged lady, who I assume is the manager. The greeting was very average and cold. I requested an egg and bacon footlong, and while I was told breakfast finishes at 11am (which is completely fine), she agreed to make it as she had the ingredients.
Unfortunately, the entire interaction was uncomfortable. While making my roll, she repeatedly went on about how breakfast finishes at 11 and how it’s not popular — making the transaction very awkward. When I asked for double lettuce, she looked down and mumbled that she wouldn’t give me too much as she was waiting on stock. By this point, I felt uncomfortable asking for anything else, as I didn’t want to hear more negativity.
I’ve been a customer here for a few months now and have always been served by the younger staff, who are friendly and professional with no issues at all. As a manager myself in the food and beverage industry, I would never allow this type of service or attitude towards customers. Running low on ingredients and making customers feel like a burden reflects very poor management.

I simply asked for two different types of cheese in my sandwich — something I’ve done at other Subway stores without any problem — but she acted like I was asking for something unreasonable. She reminded me several times that this was a “big favour” and that they “usually don’t do that” unless I pay extra. Her attitude was rude and made me feel very uncomfortable for making a simple request.
When I asked why their prices seemed higher than other Subway locations, she told me it’s because they are a franchise and can set their own prices. When I pointed out that Subway pricing should be consistent, she was dismissive and unhelpful.

Read moreI just ate at this subway. Hands down the worst subway experience I've ever had the displeasure of participating in. Service was subpar. Burnt every chance of me enjoying my foot long. No olives. I could barely hold my sub, due to the poor execution of a simple slice. Minimal selection of cookies. Opted for a refreshing raspberry fanta, only for soda water to disperse. Went to grab a lid for my soda water, that a dead bug was occupying, also no straws. The only aspect this establishment can pride itself on is the temperature of the shop on a 33°c day.
