We went there to get lunch. I ordered a ham, cheese and Tomato toastie. When it arrived we only got a ham and cheese one. There was half a slice of cheese within the whole toastie, so in general was very dry. (I know mistakes happen). When waiting we observed the staff come and clear the dishes from the other tables around us, where other people had been sitting. No wiping down of tables between customers. Been to Degani at Bentons Square a number of times and been very satisfied. However today I went up to the counter waiting to be served. Was wanting some lunch. Caesar salad. Whilst standing waiting to be served heard the chef closed the kitchen. Tried to order my salad and was told the kitchen was closed. Whilst I understand if I just walked in and told the kitchen was closed. No problem. However I was standing waiting a good couple of minutes to be told the kitchen was closed.
