Terrible customer care and service, would not go back again for a long long time. Today , I went there around 9:15 am got my breakfast, then took a seat in their restaurant. The small table looked normal, but when I put my things on it, the whole table top flopped. (A ping/clip was not done properly under the table, so it was acting like a seesaw) Everything nearly dropped on the hard floor, including my camera, iphone, breakfast etc. I pulled the table away from the customer area and brought it to the attention of Subway staff. The assistant manager Stephanie said something to the effect of “I should just move to a different table and be quiet.” I questioned her by asking what if all my belongings are broken, she said “ it is ok subway will pay for it”. I followed that line of question by asking what if I broke my arm, she said “that is ok, because they will pay for that too” I could not believe anyone in business would wish their customers to break an arm in their shop due to their fault. In fact, a decent person would not wish that on a stranger. She was young, surely didn’t not wish my blood to be spilled right there at that moment. She was just been dismissive and trying to say it is not her fault. But all she had to do was say sorry and fix the table or put the table to the back. I throw my order on the floor in frustration, which is not a proud moment for me. But the rule is simple if a company treat its customers like rubbish then their brand and product will treated as such. Subways regional development manager was visiting the store that morning, who had assured me that is not how Subway endorsed customer service. Some respect is regained. It’s a franchise business, I would invite this franchise owner to respond to this complain. I have asked for his/her contact information in the shop but no staff knows who he is or willing to give it out. Bottom line, I go to a restaurant to have food, not for a UFC match, and certainly don’t want...
Read moreI've had quite a few instances of poor customer service with this store.
I regularly ask for avocado in my sub but often don't get it. I initially chalked this up to it being busy, the staff member not hearing me or me speaking too quickly. I've tried speaking slowly on quiet days and still end up with no avocado and then not being able to put it on without pulling off the rest of my salad.
Today I came into the store to get a sandwich, walked up to order but was told to wait by the lady serving me because someone who had been looking in the fridges was "here first." So rather than take an order you'd rather hold the line up for the person who had been staring into the fridges and trying to decide what they wanted. Edit: Just to clarify they were nowhere near the spot to order, while I was.
I don't think I'm going to bother next time. It's location is pretty convenient but not getting served or getting the wrong sub isn't...
Read moreVery disappointing to see that the stingy behaviour of this subway. Great location for lot of foot traffic but still everytime we go there we are disappointed by the quantity of meat, salads and everything they put in to foot long or salads. I can understand this is the easiest way to improve profit but at the same time it is really unfair for customers to pay $17 for foot long and get hardly anything in there. Even they hesitate to put more than 3 slices of tomato’s and on top of that after charging extra for avocado they hardly put any avocado. Operators like this are damaging subways great reputation and legacy built over the years. Hope the head office will take action against...
