📝: Had the most incredible cakes from Kai Patisserie – the Ispahan Japanese Shortcake! 🌸🍰 This beauty features delicate layers of French rose syrup-infused sponge soaked in lychee syrup, making each bite light and fragrant. Topped with lychee, raspberry fruits, and a stunning raspberry-rose Ispahan macaron, this cake was pure perfection 🌹✨. Completely blown away by how fresh and perfectly balanced the flavours were!

My wife and I have shared a love for Japanese strawberry shortcake since our honeymoon there years ago, and it remains a delicious little ritual of ours to have (many of) them in different regions of Japan when we visit.

In an attempt to recreate the experience locally (given the travel restrictions), we scouted and tried many local options, and Kai Patisserie’s Chantilly a la Fraise Japanese Shortcake has been the most delicious - it was a beautifully enjoyable fresh, light, and harmonious balance of flavour and texture.

Got the ispahan Japanese Shortcake and it was a hit! Everyone loved how delicious it was, not too sweet, but also how beautiful the cake was.

Also I have to express special appreciation for the customer service. I couldn't pick up the cake during normal times but Glenn was extremely accomodating and polite. He made sure I understood how to properly handle the cake so that it wouldn't be damaged or dry out too quickly and would keep over a couple days. I could telll the cake had been made with pride and love.

Will definitely be ordering...
