Went in and ordered 2 chicken souvlakis, one with the lot and cheese and another with the lot minus tomato and garlic mayo but to replace with normal mayo and paid $17! As soon as we got home and opened the souvlaki bags we seen that not only were the souvlakis beyond expensive, they made both of the souvlakis not even half the width of the souvlaki bag. When I held it up in comparison to my wrist and hand it was 2 fingers in width and that’s it. It was so small and had barely any lettuce or cheese or chicken or tomato or anything in it and they folded the souvlaki over itself to make it smaller on purpose. When I called up to complain about how small it was and how much I paid for such a small souvlaki the lady who answered the phone said “well pay extra next time and get more added to it!” And refused to apologise or anything. She just kept saying “pay for double lettuce and chicken and stuff next time”. It already cost me $17 for such a tiny amount of food and now you want me to pay an extra like $10 more, just for it to be a decent size enough to actually satisfy someone’s appetite. $17 for something that’s as satisfying and filling as a small chocolate bar. When I asked if that’s all she had to say she said well next time you know, pay extra and you’ll get what you want. Honey I went in there and ordered a chicken souvlaki and expected to get a chicken souvlaki not something that’s as big in width as your potato cakes, and to be charged out my arse for it. The lady hung up on me and was so rude. I suggest NEVER EVER GETTING A SOUVLAKI FROM HERE TO AHYONE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SO DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE. I was a customer of this store for nearly 4 years, you’ve lost my respect and my service and you’ll no longer get a cent out of me and I’ll make sure everyone else I know in this area stops going to your business as well.
Take some tips and don’t charge people out of their arses and give them decent customer service and you wouldn’t get any complaints and instead of being respectful to me because I called up and was very polite about the manner and explained to the lady what my complaint was she was rude and when talking to me started saying “sweetie” and “honey” very sarcastically while telling me to next time pay double $17 so that way I can get a souvlaki bigger than my two fingers in width. Horrible.
Good luck earning good money and regular clientele when you rip off people who have been coming to you for years and don’t take complaints into consideration. McDonald’s handles complaints better than you, and that’s saying something.
Save your money everyone. SO NOT WORTH THE $17 or even a cent over $17. I’ve worked in hospitality all my life, and never experienced such horrible customer service...
Read moreDawg. I came in here to get a lamb sandwich (was decent) and noticed mans number 1 of 2 was singing what sounded like a du'aa behind the counter. I get into celebrating his Islamic beliefs with him, saying that my dad is a Muslim. He starts singing for me in arabic. It was sweet. He makes a joke about us going to Lebanon and I'm like "lol. Are you gonna take me to say Shahada?" And hes like "no."
Man's #2 behind the counter tells me my brain has been taken over by the Devil. (Shaytan). Which is alarming news considering that Islam was introduced to me in a violent, indoctrinating fashion in my childhood. My family has forced me to cosplay as a Muslim my entire childhood without letting me decide on my own religion for myself, and it was unpleasant. I call that side of my family a knockoff, black Mujahideen. They literally beat me into cosplaying as a muslim. It was a highly unpleasant childhood. It filled me with fear to hear man's #2 say that and man's #2 brought down ALL the vibes. He had no clue what I'd experienced and spoke with all the confidence of his Creator.
Man's #1 say I should be a Muslim because my father is.... Which is iffy enough as is but I've come to expect it. I've been trying to rationalise why someone would randomly blurt out that my brains been taken over by Shaytan but there's no rationalising intolerant sexism of a whole grown woman NOT dressed in hijab. I'm 28 and I got more of being told what to do with my fashion choices and body by two men who didn't know my name.
Don't come here if you're a woman who's skin...
Read moreI was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of food served. The service was friendly and attentive—perhaps a little too much—and honestly, the energy spent on customer service would be better put into improving the food. I ordered the burger with the lot, which tasted more like a plain cheeseburger with an odd flavour to the patty. The seafood pack was equally disappointing: the fish was certainly not flake and was hidden under thick, greasy batter, the calamari was dry, the scallop was mushy, and the battered sausage was overcooked and split. Even the chips were stale and lacked any freshness. Overall, it was a very underwhelming experience. I do not recommend this...
