I would like to give this a 3.5 for food/drink as there was a genuine attempt at inventiveness along with some standard fare. Our group of 4 was well attended to by the hosts - playing chef/waiters Seating is limited. Though the lunchtime crowd on this particular Tuesday was catered for satisfactorily. A big plus for Soho is the lack of competition in that strip. If you are a local it's worth a visit.

I genuinely wanted to like this brunch cafe, but food was very average at best. Chilli scrambled eggs was strangely cooked without chilli, it was placed on the side of the plate. Egg hollandaise was ok but could be served on a larger sourdough rather than an English muffin. Coffees were great though. Pricing is generally cheaper than other cafes, but it’s reflected in the food quality.

Excellent super fast service as always. Very yummy food. Great for catch-ups with friends, brunch or fussy kids. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Asian Family operates the business & trying to make their living by running this cafe but there are better and correct ways to make money. Ordered cappuccino, chilli scramble on croissant with mushrooms extra. We also order Avo on toast and mushrooms on side, some chips and plain croissant. Small plate of chilli scrambled arrived, we were surprised with the quantity served as compared to the price. Small croissant cut in half with scrambled eggs inside, a few fresh chillies (which were not chilly) Roughly 3 to 4 button mushrooms sliced in half ($5 extra for a side)two cheery tomatoes sliced in half. Avo on toast with cheddar cheese was around $22 for two woolies white bread (toasted) with smash avo on top and slice of melted cheese on one of the bread slices with 3 button mushrooms cut in half ($5 extra for mushroom as a side) Coffee and food were average and quantity not worth the money. Another important part :- I went to settle the bill at the counter, I was told $54.20 (which obviously surprised us) I said I will pay by card and then she manually entered $54.40 on the eftpos, so I thought $0.20 was card surcharge, which I think most businesses charge these days but when the money got deducted it was $54.80 🤦‍♂️ upon asking for tax invoice I was told it was too...

My normal stop when I drop my daughter off for tutoring on Wednesday...nice people however I was sitting round for 20 mins since my order of scrabbled eggs the hot chocolate took 3 mins...anyway had literally 5mins before I had to go...still no food so I paid for the eggs anyway...and there werent many people in the cafe so it should have been a quick job...I could see them sitting there (btw they looked good) on my way out so I paid $14 for zero as time got to me..the staff were great but just need to concentrate more on their customers as opposed to being immersed in conversations, just an observation as the staff...

An unexpected delight. Found this cafe “by mistake” and can understand why it is so popular with locals - there was a constant stream while we were having breakfast. Service was fast and friendly, and whether eat-in or takeaway, no one seemed to wait very long at all. Simple meal of scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, avocado and chorizo, was perfect and really good coffee! Pea & kale fritters with avocado, halloumi & poached eggs was equally different and tasty. Drop in on your way past or go out...
