Innovative, tasty, high quality and delicious - you can't do better than a meal and coffee at Milhouse Canteen in Mordialloc. The owners, brothers Damien and Jarryd, put heart and soul into their new business and it really shows. They have to be the friendliest, happiest cafe owners around. My husband is a real coffee connoisseur and he rated the coffee with the best he has ever tasted. Our mushroom melts kept us going for the whole day, with generous serves of delicious mushies, cheese top and bottom, and toasted to perfection. Top marks for Milhouse Canteen. If you haven't been there yet, hot foot it there. They are also open on Saturday till 1 pm.

Their melts are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. So good that I devoured both of mine before I realised I should have taken a photo for the review. Service is amazing too, super friendly. If you’re in the area definitely stop by 👍🏻 *UPDATE* Obviously had to go back while I was in the area The above words still stand but I just wanted to add some photos of the delicious toastie. If only I lived a bit closer, I’d be in there nearly every day, thanks legends

First timer, discovered thanks to some cute marketing with a bicycle at a roundabout. Cafe is a hidden gem in the industrial back quarter of Mordialloc. 10/10 ticks all the boxes for service, coffee (Allpress) and food and has an approachable but very presentable vibe. Prices are visible on everything, which I really appreciate. And stones throw from Parkdale school drop off.

Being a daily customer for about a month & I would say the Millhouse Canteen is the best cafe around here. Tried out the most of their menu and my favorite one is Chicken Schnitzel. They got a plenty of simple but mouth watering food varieties presented with a smile and great customer service.

Easily the best cafe in the Mordialloc area, if not the south-east. 10/10 Food and Coffee. 11/10 Vibes and Service. Pop in, order a coffee, grab a “Chicken & Avocado Bread Thing”, and enjoy a round of old-school Mario Kart while the boys get everything prepared nice and hot for you to enjoy.

This place has kept things simple but do them very well. Service with a smile. Great tasting simple food. Best chips I’ve had in ages. Cheap and tasty. Designed for takeaway with limited indoor seating and three larger outdoor tables with umbrellas.
