It's finally time to get on the beers at Wolf of the Willows Brewing's recently opened Tap Room in Mordialloc. The best part is you can bring the cubs too! Wolf of the Willows is no stranger in the craft beer world, having been established in 2014. They are passionate about producing hand-crafted and modern ales, that are distinct in quality, flavour, and character, know as "Ales of Distinction."
Their success has lead to the opening of their Tap Rooms in Mordi, and this is one place that you're going to love as much as we did. They're a super friendly spot for kids, with cute colouring pages, high chairs, and baby change facilities. You can purchase some games directly (think mini jenga or cards) too. Their menu is designed to be shared, so the kids will love grazing along with you.
Of course, we can't forget about the huge range of beer available on tap. With over 12 options on tap, you may consider one of their tasting paddles. If beer isn't your thing, don't sweat, you should sample one of their range of Sours or Seltzers (like I did)! You'll be sure to find something to your liking, otherwise select from their selection of wines, spirits, soft drinks, coffee, or juice.
The food options are impressive too, with a permanent set-up from the food-truck Vango. We ordered their Feed Me Platter, which includes Softshell Mudcrab Sliders, Slow Cooked Pulled Pork Tacos, Spiced Chicken Wingettes, Freshly Made Chicken Wingettes, and dipping sauces. Needless to say, it...

My only bit of constructive criticism is regarding the food. There's a nice selection, however whoever in the kitchen is seasoning the food is putting so much salt on everything, chips, burgers, pulled beef croquets, etc, the salt was so much it ruined the food.
We were there for a birthday and everyone in out group complained about the same thing re the food ... way too salty. Would be far to better reduce seasoning, or have it on tables for people to use.
Overall, good day, good venue, just salty food.

Read moreWe recently celebrated a special occasion at Wolf of the Willows. Renae was amazing to communicate with as we organised a private area of the brewery for our guests. Nothing was too difficult and all our guests commended the venue for their amazing service and attention to detail. Chris was awesome with his organisation and made sure that all our guests were happy (even the littlest of kids). Nick's knowledge at the bar didn't go unnoticed with some of our beer fanatic guests! Both Chris and Nick were brilliant in their customer service skills! I highly recommend Wolf of the Willows as the next venue for your special...
