Really terrible food quality and even the coffee was burnt. The platter had very minimal on it, and considering they charge $50 for it you’d expect a little more than a quarter of a sandwich, and Coles products.. That plus 2 coffees and you’re already over $60, leaving hungry and confused as to how they could stuff up coffee/tea and scones. Terrible value, save yourself $45 and take the $15 and go buy more from the local woolies and snack on it in the comfort of your own home. Very unfortunate as had high hopes initially. PS to owner, maybe don’t buy your serving platters at Kmart, as they are falling apart. Thanks.

Despite not living anywhere nearby, I think I have been here 3 times in the last year. After a friend's birthday, my mother organised her retirement party. As a Sunday high tea venue this might be my favourite place in Melbourne. The spread of food and desserts is incredibly high quality, and even the space available with the high glass ceiling, the storybook greenhouse vibe, and the outdoor undercover area is great. My only complaint would be there is not much AC, so I had to hide in the gallery for a little while to cool down on a hot day. Would highly highly recommend anyone looking to host their event here

Have been here a few times. This place has such a nice park and playground, to be honest it was so nice sitting outside on beautiful day. Inside was not bad atmosphere either, but can get noisy. Sometimes we could walk in without reservation but another time it was booked out during weekday lunch. Sandwich was ok, brekkie roll was very nice, has enough chutney so that was nice. Big size for the roll. Tried their pancake stacks which looks like souffle but taste was just ok. Calamari was ok too, but probably batter was a bit hard.

I had my 40th here on a hot summers night. Perfect venue to cater to a mix of ages - the kids spread out playing in the playground and people could mingle at the bar, inside, on the terrace, out on the lawn - plenty of seating too which can be unheard of in some venues! This was great as people could move around and find a crew to sit with but there wasn't a sense of being trapped - a lovely sense of space and flow. The staff were also extremely professional, hardworking and responsive - we had a brief thunderstorm and heavy shower halfway through and we were relocated inside, unscathed. All reports were that people had plenty to eat and drink, and loved the food, and didn't have to "search for it" or feel like they missed out (I was talking too much to eat much!). The space actually fits lots of people comfortably inside. If you are looking for a venue that you can just turn up to, with a great atmosphere (particuarly in summer), with staff that know what they're doing and how to pull off an event - this is the place for you. A big thanks to...

I'd have liked to have left more stars for the Conservatory cafe . But charging my kids $12 for three cans of Pepsi Max is like taking candy from a baby.

Edit upon reply .

Yes my children always read the menu pricing before purchasing a can of drink. Are you serious ? Like I'm all for being sustainable and making profit but when they're 80c to buy or under $20 a box of 24. $4 per can is a bit of a rourte. Most shops sell the 600ml bottles for less than that. Honest review. You can chose to take criticism how you like. Defensive by the look of all the other lower star reviews on your page. But whatever. I won't be back...
