I'll keep this brief. I think this restaurant attracts a certain clientele and if you like nice, quiet and sober people, then this isn't for you. It was rowdy, drunk people swearing and laughing way too loud. The service was good. The food was sadly average. I know the staff were doing the best they could on the night, but they really need to keep the loud drunk people separate from the diners and have the staff dress more professionally. Everyone at the table liked their meal, but didn't love it. Sadly, I wouldn't rush back here. But that's just me ...

The Dick is a great place to watch sport on the various screens; big and small. While you drink, of course. There is a smoking room at the front with a TV screen. Unlike pubs in other sections of Chapel Street, The Dick put the TV commentary on. They don't play music over the top of it. And the staff are accommodating. It's hard not to laugh every time you visit the drive-through bottle-shop; The Dick Liquor. Obviously someone's got a sense of humour. The No 78 Tram stops almost out the front, which is handy if you want to keep your driver's license.

Sometimes its the laid back places that offer the best food, experience and service. This is one of them. Came for a family occasion and was surprisingly impressed. Clean, friendly, great dinner service. The waitresses kept offering to bring more of their delicious bread with olive oil and dukkah. I love fillet mignon and have often been disappointed - but theirs was one of the best! Bacon wrapped eye fillet that was cooked perfectly. Everyone was happy about their meals, even the 6 year old who asked for a doggy bag.

A Thursday Night , Group of 10 , Requested the Steak as being Steak Night , told by Barman it’s not Steak Night , so ordered a Chicken Parma, ordered a Pint of Carlton and a cider in a bottle , (he had to leave us and check if cider comes in a bottle) Charges me $28.93 …. Now that a bit steep …..

Next thing, after all 10 of us ordered our main meal the bar man Comes over to the table and says , sorry steak is available , Porterhouse Steak available , it is smaller than Main Size for $25.00 , A mate orders an add on of Mushroom Sauce with Parma , sorry No sauce …. No one changed their order to the steak , All meals ordered came out and were nice , Probably won’t hurry back , there's another pub up the road with less fuss and they know what’s going on , not...

This is my first google review but it's absolutely needed BC I'm frustrated at this venue. Something has happened here and it's not the staff. Been coming here multiple times a week as a local who supported during covid and this week I went to the wolf in Windsor. The staff were always great but I see too many changes to the offering and the staff are unhappy and it feels "greedy". One example is Mondays 2 for 1. A great concept and something I've been part of for years. The latest change is "buy 3 meals get two free". Last time I checked 3 people isn't the average dining status. So I'm single and when I have another mate I'll go elsewhere. I'm sure the data speaks. I won't be dining but I'll say hello to the staff on the way past BC...

Love this place! Fantastic staff who love making sure patrons have a great time. Bar and restaurant food are both quality and priced really well. Awesome sports bar in its own space and there is a smoking area that is available if you feel the need. There is also a seated section out front on sidewalk worth spending time at, especially in the summer months with your crew. Locals are also from all over the area and very friendly so don't be surprised if you end up chatting away to someone at the table next to you. Visit the website to see what is available, happening or on the menu! Bookings can also be done online so there...
