This was my physical wellbeing and mental health sanctuary for years, even before COVID. I have since left the area, yet still travel to come here for several reasons. Firstly there is a bridge with 4 separate flight's of stairs that I like to run on, that crosses Dandenong road. Secondly, there's a free outdoor gym here on the Alma road side of the cricket oval & 4 basketball hoops on the Dandenong side of the oval. There's plenty of shade and trees under which to picnic or relax. There's a sprawling playground to keep kids entertained for hours with swings, flying fox, jungle gym and slides. Plenty of Personal trainers use the areas for P.T sessions as do dog walkers and joggers, cricketers and footy fans. Probably my favourite park in Melbourne

Such a great park divided by a railway line. On one side is a fantastic children's Playground (which has recently had an upgrade) some gym equipment and an oval. On the other side is an off lead dog park. The gardens and trees are always pretty in every season. Always worth a wander

Big Park with dog areas, sport oval, basketball court and children play areas. However it is not well maintained. Play areas filled with leaves and trash

A popular park for the locals. Oval, playground, BBQ facilities, outdoor gym, and other passive garden areas. Quite popular for kids birthday parties in the warmer months. Oval gets used by the neighbouring school, soccer and cricket clubs at times. The Sandringham railway cutting goes through the middle of Alma Park, that's why there's a West Alma and an...
