Future Canteen is a throwback to the 1980s Tokyo when Japan was thought to be the future by Westerners and Japan was going gaga over MTV and Western Culture. So this place is mix of both Japan and the west. They have Sushi, 3 types of bowls (Original, Curry and Poke), Burgers, To share small plates and some amazing drinks. The bowls were a delight both the Chicken Katsu and the Veggie Tempura. They both are served with Rice and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The Edamame was perfect and we always enjoy a good Edamame. The Future fries were crisp and were cooked to perfection. Our drinks the Matcha Yuzu was good. Once you have a few sips the taste really grows on you. Yuzu Green tea was delicious with the popping pearls. We actually like Leonardo in the TMNT but Raphael (Burger) was the hero in this instance.
