The Little Birdie Cafee — Restaurant in Melbourne

I ordered from your café through Uber Eats after checking the reviews for your café. All glowing and fabulous for your lunch menu. However, your dinner menu must have a different person in the kitchen! I ordered the satay chicken for entrée and sweet and sour pork in batter as the main. Both orders were dry and inedible. So bad, that I struggled to get a fork through the pork. After spending $57 dollars, I threw most of it out and went hungry.

I think it is an absolute disgrace that you would even consider sending food out to a customer so poorly prepared. I was happy to pay what I consider a higher cost for the food only due to your great reviews. Something has gone horribly wrong with your dinner menu. I was so disappointed and will not be ordering from you again. I am not in the habit of making bad reviews but I hope no one else has to endure the absolute rubbish that was delivered to me last night. Shame on you!

I implore anyone reading this post to not order from the dinner menu if you are going to be served what I received last night. I can only assume from how dry and tough the food was, it was last week's left over lunch that the dog wouldn't eat....

On Tue 17 Oct myself and 4 of my friends arrived at 12.30pm to have lunch . As we ordered food to share we requested 4 additional plates and an additional serving set of fork and spoon. However the waitress told us in a rude manner that she will only provide us 3 plates and gave only 1 spoon! Later one of my friend requested for addition salad dressing which another waitress came around and replied ‘What do you want’ in a very loud and rude tone. . The service provided was absolutely appalling to such an extent we will not recommend any of our friends...

Excellent iced coffee. Coffee was strong and smooth. Ordered one and was pleasantly surprised how good it was so had another take away. Banh mi was great too. Bread was crispy and fresh. The ingredients are a bit unusual with salads and pickles instead of the usual banh mi filling. Very tasty. Looks like an average industrial park cafe but food and drinks are above average. Would...
