Poacher & Hound Cafe & Catering — Restaurant in Melbourne

I had to get my tires changed and dropped by for lunch as it was a good looking cafe in the area in the business park.

I was taken aback by the lunch menu prices but thought fine enough I am already here. I ended up getting a porterhouse steak for $32 I believe and it was very average, it was steak and chips for 32, no salad? 32 dollars???

Bit on the steep side, probably ok to come for a coffee but as far as that experience goes it was a daylight robbery to get a small steak and chips.

Love this place. I’ve been coming here for years. The food is amazing, always looks beautiful and tastes great. Good portions, very reasonably priced. Choices range from healthy (subtle mouth watering flavours) to maybe not as healthy but utterly delicious, my only regret is their restricted opening hours.
